I have been fighting this devil for about 5 years. It is the worst thing I have come up against. My husband is an addict. It has been very hard to stay with him but I have so far. He is better now then I have ever seen in him. But it has been a constant battle with this drug. Don't feel sorry for Whitney she don't need that she needs someone to stick by her and fight for her. Her decisions on the drug are wrong decisions She needs someone beside her at all times to treat her like a little kid and say"No that is not a good idea. Crack Addicts loose reality and common sense. The crack addict will put the person trying to help them in hell (where I have been the past few years dealing with an addict) But now I know just about everything I need to know about crack. He can't lie to me no more. I even went to the crack house to find my husband and pounded on the door demanding my husband come out. And after being lied to that he wasn't there. I went to the rear window and told them if they did not send him out that I would bust out the window. Boy he came out real quick after that. Just don't give up on Whitney. I don't understand the addiction itself but I know it is very strong. Like I said this is the best I have seen my husband in a few years. He even has a job now. And takes a shower daily after I told him he really stunk. They don't care how they look or smell. Don't get on them when they are high because they will not listen they only want the high. You tell them they stink when they are out of the drug. Well I could go on and on with my experience. I have learned alot in the past few years. Whitney's family and friends be strong for her and when she is out of drugs tell her that she stinks and is making the whole room stink and her hair is nasty. It may get through to her.
