Lance Bass has reveled he is gay, People has confirmed.
Not that big of a surprise. But still, it’s quite a shocker. But, I knew it was coming. He sparked much controversy earlier this week when he was spotted with “Amazing Race” reality TV star Reichen Lehmkuhl at soem gay bars in Provincetown, Mass. Good for him and I’m glad he hopefully is happy. At I’m also glad is he dating a semi-celebrity too. (Ha! Just joking on that one…or am I?)

How can it hurt? Everyone should have the guts to come out. Boys (teenagers) are being hung in Iran, slaughtered in Iraq, and lesbians are being murdered in Jamaica. We live in a world filled with religious bigots and the only way to teach tolerance is to bravely show ourselves in every community, not as outrageous people but as the loving non-violent caring and fair people we are. We give and give and it is time that those who would do us harm to know we are a strong and united caring family. We will do what we can to stem the violence but we will never again hide. There is no closet that can hold us any longer!

I immediately thought of the classic “Which Back Street Boy is Gay” when I heard this. Guess it was In Synch (sp?) instead. Or maybe all the Back Street Boys are gay. Don’t know, really don’t care.
