JonBenet Ramsey Confessed Murderer Knew Graphic Secrets

After a day when it looked like his confession might have been a hoax or a delusion, it now looks like John Mark Karr’s confession is legitimate.

John Mark Karr gave authorities graphic details about the condition of JonBenet Ramsey’s body that have been kept secret for nearly a decade, a U.S. law enforcement source told CNN on Friday. Those details were known only to the medical examiner and the investigators probing the December 26, 1996 murder of the six-year-old beauty queen, the law enforcement official said.

There are still quite a few questions, apparently.

Isn’t some of the inconsistant details that he was in Georgia the day of the murder. Given that it was Christmas, decent chance family might remember this sort of detail.

If faced with the question of how did he find out details known only to a few (while corresponding by email with a guy who has written several books on the subject) or how did he be in two places at once, which one makes more sense as being a clue to the accuracy.

Now maybe I am wrong about where he was (I sure am not his alibi), but I wouldn’t let ‘key detail’ be a clincher if you have to choose between believing the details might be known a bit wider than supposed or that he can violate the whole space time continuum thing.

I agree. “Key details” are unlikely to remain secret for 10 years in a highly publicized case. How many police involved in the investigation are now retired and believe themselves no longer bound by professional duties to keep their mouths shut?

Anyone really obsessed with the case could dig out details that had not been previously published.
