Kirsten Dunst Says Spider-Man 3 May Be Last in Series
Kirsten Dunst says there may not be a “Spider-Man 4.”

Asked by a wire service whether the third installment (due next May 4) will be the last, Dunst said, “We’re not sure. It might be, might not be.”
She said “Spider-Man” has been such an important part of her life for so long, she would greatly miss her character and co-workers if “3″ was to be the finale. “It feels a little bit like a death, in a way,” she said. “It’s always been like something I have that’s coming up. … It’s weird that that’s not going to — maybe, maybe — won’t be part of my life anymore.”
No way they stop making Spider-Man movies given the success of the franchise. Marvel has been cranking out coming books about the webslinger–sometimes four or five of them a month–since 1963. Surely, they can write a movie every two or three years.
