Maddox Jolie-Pitt is Taking on India
The Brad Pitt-Angelina Jolie family are currently creating a media storm in India. The family is in Pune where Angelina Jolie is going to start filming the Mariane Pearl biopic very soon. Brad Pitt is producing the project.
Angelina is upset that they couldn’t film in Pakistan and released this statement:
“I am disappointed that we could not shoot the film in Pakistan, a country that I love and have visited three times.”
Brangelina have brought their children along for the ride while they shoot the project. The film is about Mariane and her husband, Daniel Pearl, who was kidnapped and murdered in Pakistan while doing a story for the Wall Street Journal.

I’m a fan of Jolie and think that her celebrity status should not take away from her good works – she’s not just another rich b*tch out there getting attention for herself. I really believe that her intention is to help make this world a better place, and if she’s out there helping children around the world and bringing media attention (and money) to suffering nations – good for her! I was surprised at the anger around her portraying Mariane Pearl, apparently many black activist groups are upset that she’s playing a bi-racial woman. The message of the movie and the sacrifice of the Pearl family falls to the wayside when people make it about something completely unrelated – like race.

Give it a rest! If YOU could afford to take your children with you while you worked on the road, you would too! I’m just glad they are doing the story. You would be surprised how many have forgotten or don’t remember her husband died trying to keep us as Americans in the loop!
