Eddie Murphy & Scary Spice…. it’s Getting Ugly!

Eddie Murphy recently told a Dutch reporter that he’s not with Mel B aka Scary Spice anymore and that he isn’t sure who her baby daddy is. He’s already moved on and is dating Babyface’s ex-wife, Tracey Edmonds. Mel B released this statement today:

“I am obviously upset and distressed at some of the comments made by Eddie Murphy to the media.

I have no idea why anybody would want to conduct themselves in this kind of manner about such a personal matter in such a public way.

My main concern is for the well being of my (seven-year-old) daughter Phoenix and of course the baby. I was astonished at what Eddie said

– there is absolutely no question that Eddie is the father.”

It sounds like an episode of Maury Povich in the works, no?

Mel claims that she found out Eddie had dumped her when she received calls from friends saying that he had told a reporter they weren’t together. Now that’s cold and crappy; sounds like high school break-up drama to me.
