UPDATE (James): I noted some time back that Anderson has been an active sex symbol a long time in an industry where staying power is rare, indeed.

Certainly, she’s the queen of Playboy, having appeared on the covers of the October 1989, February 1991, July 1992, August 1993 (with Dan Aykroyd), November 1994, January 1996, September 1997, June 1998 (Babes of Baywatch), February 1999, July 2001, and May 2004 issues and as the Playmate of the Month/centerfold in February 1990. Oddly, though, she was never Playmate of the Year.

I would not be surprised to see Anderson on the cover of Playboy for her 50th birthday.

She turns 40 next July 1. So, we’ll have to wait until July 2017 to find out if that prediction will come true.
