Amazing how people from the mid-west are constantly being dumped-on and held to a higher
standard than everyone else. A girl makes a couple of mistakes and suddenly her crown is
yanked ! Vanessa Williams posed nude, what did
this girl do that was the equivilant of ?

Vanessa’s career took off after several years of hard work, determination and natural talent. The scandal was painful and unfair to her – and nearly derailed a huge and deserving career.

I disagree with you on that, I rather like Tamiko’s face, and I think her body was better, but that is irrelevant in regard to this. I agree that if she was drinking underage there is no reason to dethrone her. Additionally, Tamiko’s reign would always have the caveat of, “Queen by default”.

Hopefully they can work with her, unless she put on a sex show, or slugged somebody I think that her having drinks at a bar is much ado about nothing. The question is, how many drinkers out there actually waited until they were 21 to have a drink? Not many I would say.

Apparently she wasn’t just drinking. She failed a drug test for cocaine.

What did see do that was so terrible. It was reported that Conner was kissing “Miss Teen America”. How does that stack up to nude pictures?

1. As a formaer pageant winner, I know that a queen may be dethroned for underaged drinking. The fact that it doesn’t “seem like a big deal” is irrelevant. When a queen is crowned, almost immedialty they are swept awat and sign a contract that reamins valid for the entire year of her reign ( and in some cases even after). if by drinking, Miss Conner violated her conract with the Miss Universe organization, than she should lose her title. Being Miss USA is a job. If you go to work and violate the rules at your job, you should be punished, thus so should Miss Conner.

2.It really does not matter if Miss Conner’s actions were “equivilant” to Miss Williams’. They were both violations of contract and merit the loss of titles. Besides, Vanessa Williams and Tara Conner competed in two completely different pageants; two completely different organizations. Its not fair to compare the decisions of two different companies in order to make an arguement.

3. Tamiko Nash is definatly better looking than tara Conner

Are you blind. Look at the already hardened face of Miss Conner vs the still sweet innocent beauty radiating from the face of Miss Nash!
I dont’t have a strong opinion of who Miss USA is, but I just had to comment on this weird statement.

Ofcourse, beauty is in the eye of the beholder – yes?
Nevertheless, comparing these two pictures with a 20/20 vision indicates that yours may be influenced by other factors that just beauty.
I wonder what could that be..

I don’t think anyone should shed a tear for Tara. In a few months we’ll see her in Penthouse or Playboy, and then porn we’ll she’ll likely reprise her role as a shameless coal-mining slut who leads the good teenage girl astray. Sounds like must see TV to me.
