reference to bum, they were probably snickering to begin with…she is a beautiful woman and while she is being investigated for a “professional” decision and choice, there are woman in the armed forces that do “ALOT” more than pose nude…and nothing happens to them except a transfer or 45 day restriction duties, lets be honest here; she made a bad choice; she didnt hurt anyone except maybey someones feelings and alot more happens behind closed doors with enlisted and officers alike. they may use he as an example, but really she is a victim to intimidate the ones that havent been caught doing worse things…and in most cases, when they are caught, nothing happens.

I’ll go out on a limb here and assume that you have never served in any of the armed forces.

“Who cares about the damn oath she took?” She should have for one. Posing in and out of uniform is clearly contrary to good order and dicipline that every member of the armed forces is required to uphold as per several miltary regulations.

Although you obviously have no idea of what the UCMJ is all about, SGT Manhart did. More than likely Playboy was also aware that it was contrary to military rule but photographed her anyway. Controversy is great publicity and no doubt fueled a rush to the news stand.

One last thing, how exactly is posing nude in a military uniform going to help her “perform all her duties to the best of her abilities and hope to strengthen and improve the military”?

When you raise your hand to take the oath of office and enter into the U.S. Armed forces you also agree the be an ambassador to our coutry. She’s violated her oath of office, the Uniform Code of Military Justice and the integrity of the U.S. Armed forces. Look at what she’s done for the money…. Hookers fall into that very same category but do it to survive. She obviously did it for other reasons.
