Bob Marley Will Finally Get His Grammy!
Believe it or not, reggae music legend Bob Marley has never won a Grammy Award. Well, the time has finally come for that to change. It’s not like he didn’t deserve it long ago, no?

The Recording Academy, governing body of the prestigious Grammy Awards, has announced its newest additions to the Grammy Hall of Fame, and Marley is among the inductees.
Today, 44 recordings were added to a timeless list that now includes 728 titles. Bob Marley & The Wailers’ classic “One Love,” which has permeated throughout American culture — most notably as the theme song for the Jamaican Tourism Board’s marketing efforts, is on the list.
“This year’s Grammy Hall Of Fame inductees spotlight a diverse array of masterpiece recordings that have had a profound impact on our musical history,” said Neil Portnow, President of The Recording Academy, in a statement. “They exemplify some of the best qualities that make the recording arts essential to our culture, and they all greatly deserve to be commemorated.”
