If they go ahead and make this replacement, they will be taking a serious step BACKWARD... if addiction is a concern, why choose Courtney Love? Paula's antics on American Idol would pale in comparison. If you want a worthy judge, why not elect the previous years winner a guest seat on the panel? Or at least invite a singer with a more credible past (just a thought: maybe this is all a publicity scam) perhaps a sheryl crow. Class and talent should be prerequisites. But, as Canadians, let downs have become the norm and what we have come to expect from American television. People you need to stop and think very hard here.
