If not before. I dunno, to be honest. They seem to be doing okay but it’s a head scratcher. Especially in Hilfer’s case, when there are plenty of nude pix out there already.

Then again, Playboy does a Pam Anderson spread every couple years or so and they (presumably) continue to sell out.

I am sure the money was quite good for a day’s work (or however long these things take).

I do wonder about Playboy’s business model here, though. I mean it isn’t as if scans of the issue won’t be on the net with a few hours of the mag hitting the stands.

10 or more years ago the allure of seeing a specific starlet nude might be sufficient to boost sales–but I have to wonder if that is still the case.
