Paris Hilton Wins First Round Against ParisExposed

Paris Hilton has won the first round in a lawsuit to keep bath videos and other personal items off the web.

A federal judge has issued a temporary injunction against a website peddling personal pictures, videos, diaries, and other items that heiress Paris Hilton once kept at a storage facility.

Hilton sued the website ParisExposed.com last month, accusing it of exploiting her private personal belongings for commercial gain. The injunction issued Friday temporarily bars the website from releasing Hilton’s Social Security number, health data and other personal information.

Hilton’s spokesman, Elliott Mintz, said Saturday he was pleased by the move. “I know what this has done personally and emotionally to Paris,” Mintz said. “As far as I’m concerned, this is the most disturbing intrusion upon the privacy of a public figure that I’ve ever witnessed.”

The subscription-based website was launched last month and claims to have footage of Hilton in a “sexy bubble bath” video and various shots of the 25-year-old socialite in “racy situations.” Hilton previously said she put her possessions in storage two years ago when she and her sister, Nicky, moved out of a house that had been burglarized.

This is the right call, I think. Hilton is a public figure and entitled to far less privacy than the rest of us. Even she, though, deserves not to have stolen property exploited for someone else’s gain.

I think that is such B.S. that the website Parisexposed.com has been issued a temporary injunction. It is well known that if you don’t pay your storage fees after a month your property gets auctioned off. She should have made sure it was paid or if it was really that personal she should have gotten it out. She did all those things and that is who she is and no one is to blame but herself. Good for the creator of the website for exposing her for the sluty drugged out spoiled brat that she is. I would hope that no one would feel bad for her for, like I said she put herself in this situation.
