Having forced myself to watch 5 minutes of the Tyra Banks show last night to confirm, I would like to amend my previous diagnosis: it’s not that Tyra is mean - it’s that she is mean AND Stupid. Her conversation betrays her lack of knowledge in any subject, as well as her inability to listed to her guests, or perhaps simply understand what they are saying.
Alas - if she was mean and stupid, BUT looked like a model, we (the television viewing public) may still put up with her. But now, with her newly minted fat ass in tow, that she LOOKS LIKE THE REST OF US, what we see on her show is a MEANER STUPIDER version of ourselves. Which is hardly worth dwelling on whatever sorry channel carries her show, isnt’ it?
