George Michael Has A Fear of Testing

George MichaelYesterday was National HIV Testing Day, but one prominent musician did not participate. George Michael is too scared to take an HIV test because he thinks it might be positive. Um, isn’t that the best reason to take the damn thing?

The story is featured in the documentary ‘Stephen Fry - HIV and Me’. The program’s producer, Ross Wilson, said:

“George says he does not believe in tests. He says he finds the wait for results too harrowing and that he hasn’t had a test since at least 2004 due to his fears it might be positive.”

Well, that’s just brilliant.

In other George news, Monday was his 44th birthday, and he got a gift from Geri Halliwell. Since George is banned from driving after being found slumped over the wheel, Geri gave him a chauffeur for the next 12 months. A source revealed the former Spice Girl chose someone who was “nice to look at” and would also be a “good companion”.
