Al Gore III Had Drugs

Al Gore III, son of former Vice President Al Gore, was arrested early this morning in Orange County on suspicion of possessing marijuana and prescription drugs, including Valium, Xanax, Vicodin, and Adderall. He was allegeldy driving his Toyota Prius at 100 mph on the San Diego Freeway at 2:15 a.m. when he was pulled over.
Gore III was not charged with DUI because he was not impaired. Lucky for him, because this is not his first offense. He had completed a substance abuse program in 2004 after he was charged with possession of marijuana in Maryland after police observed him driving without his headlights on.
He was ticketed for reckless driving by North Carolina police in August 2000 when he was clocked going 94 mph in a 55 mph zone. Military police arrested him for drunk driving near a military base in Virginia in September 2002.
Come on Al III, driving 100 mph is not the way to get good gas mileage. And I hope you used paper instead of plastic for those prescription drugs.

He was driving a hybrid vehicle, so that translates to only doing 50 mph :)
