Emma Watson’s Magic Muffins

Emma Watson, a.k.a. Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films, was on Conan O’Brien last night promoting the latest installment in the seven-movie series. And though she’s only 17, Conan had no problem discussing her magic muffins. Ok, they’re actually the breakfast treat, but I can’t be the only one laughing at this.

“It’s muffin mix,” she says. “I was in Waitrose [a U.K. chain of supermarkets] the other day and I came across ‘Hermione’s Magic Muffins.’ I’m an awful cook and I would never, ever do that, but you don’t have to buy any of the ingredients. It’s all there.”

I feel like I just walked off the set of ‘Spaceballs’. Merchandising, merchandising. Harry Potter the T-shirt, Harry Potter the Coloring Book, Harry Potter the Lunch box, Harry Potter the Breakfast Cereal, Harry Potter the Flame Thrower, Harry Potter the muffin mix!
