Britney Spears’ Assistant Served in Custody Battle

Kevin Federline is heating up the custody battle with Britney Spears. Us Weekly reports that around 2:30 a.m. Sunday morning outside a party in Hollywood Hills, Alli Sims, Britney’s cousin/assistant and JR Rotem, Britney’s music producer, were served with court papers.

Alli, visibly upset, tried to avoid service, and she and JR began to argue with the process server. But despite Alli’s denials, the server threw the court papers through their car window as the two fled.

Britney was spotted leaving the same party moments later and joined Alli and JR at her Beverly Hills home.

Kevin’s attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, has made it clear that Kevin is concerned about the safety and welfare of Sean Preston and Jayden James.

“Kevin would like to have as much custody as he could because he feels that the children would benefit from that,” Kaplan said.

Kaplan filed documents in the family law department of the L.A. Superior Court on August 8 that may have been a petition requesting primary custody.

I would love to sit in the courtroom during this custody battle – all kinds of dirt on Britney is about to come out.
