Former professional model. The runway is like glass, you have on shoes that are unscuffed on the soles, and sometimes ridiculous [bottom a bowling ball],the dresses are too long, etc., etc. etc.

However, the only time I ever fell was running on a train platform with new shoes I had just worn for a modeling class. I was late for an engagement. I had been wearing high heels for years so I didn’t think anything of running in them to try and catch the train. I fell on my hip so hard, I flipped over on my stomach and couldn’t move for about 10 minutes.

My hip hurt so bad I was holding my waist. The train employees thought I had hurt my back and wouldn’t move me. Finally when I could move I was so embarrassed the train was still there I didn’t want to get on it. When I did, there was a lady about to burst a blood vessel trying to laugh without making a sound. When I realized how I must have looked, I started laughing and 20 other people joined in. The downside is I had a bruised hip for two weeks.
