Scarlett Johansson Recording Album - PIC

Rumors of a Scarlett Johansson album are coming true. She is reportedly working on her debut with members of Yeah Yeah Yeahs and TV on the Radio’s Dave Sitek. Scarlett recently spent 33 days recording at Dockside Studio, whose owner describes the album as,

“a theater, big screen. Lots of heavy bass tones in it. Without a bass guitar, we used all kind of different instruments to create these sounds. It was a great experiment. Very avant garde. She sounds like Marilyn Monroe.”

Personally, I really don’t think I’m going to like this avant garde masterpiece. Scarlett was previously rumored to be doing a Tom Waits cover album – if this debut is anything like that it’s going to suck. There’s no way she could do Tom Waits justice.
