Emmy Rossum is an actress, mostly known for her roles in “Poseidon” and “The Day After Tomorrow”. Unfortunately, she’s trying to sing now too. Here’s Emmy’s first single, “Slow Me Down”.
Don’t get me wrong, she’s a cute girl with a good voice, her song just sucks. It’s like Enya on speed. The redeeming part comes when she roles around naked in the sheets - you can’t see anything, but still.
The album is scheduled to be released October 23.

Pamela Anderson and Paris Hilton’s ex Rick Salomon applied for and were granted a marriage license in Las Vegas on Saturday. Pam says that she and Rick have been friends for 15 years.

Two more season premieres tonight for another good night of television: ‘Desperate Housewives’ and ‘Brothers & Sisters’.
‘Desperate Housewives’ is back tonight for the beginning of its 4th season, and Nicollette Sheridan is back on Wisterian Lane despite storylines that indicated possibly otherwise. And Dana Delaney will join the cast this year.
When last season ended, Edie appeared to have committed suicide, Gabby got married to a politician who only married her for the Hispanic vote, Lynette learned she has cancer, Bree was faking a pregnancy to cover-up her daughter’s pregnancy, and Mike and Susan finally got married.
When this season begins, the big mystery will involve Dana Delaney and her family and the reason they left Wisteria Lane years ago. Also, there’s a rumor that Susan will get pregnant this season.

Also on ABC, ‘Brothers & Sisters’ returns for its 2nd season. After taking home the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama, Sally Field promises to deliever again this time around. Her speech focused on mothers and war, and the second season will relate as Sally Field’s character deals with her son’s deployment to Iraq.

Queen of country music Reba McEntire said “um…no thanks” to a collaboration with Jessica Simpson for her new CD, Reba Duets, which debuted at number one.
Uh oh… slam.
While Jessica Simpson could have used the boost the report claims it was a no-go from Reba.
The classy singing legend personally approached young pop stars including Kelly Clarkson and Justin Timberlake, but when Jess, 27 – who hopes to make it as a country singer – contacted Reba about appearing on the album, no one from Reba’s team responded, the report claims.
“Jess thought she had been passed over because Reba would be singing with older, more established artists,” a source close to Jessica said. “She was devastated when she found out that Kelly Clarkson was invited to be part of the project.”
I really don’t blame Reba on this one, Jessica’s singing rather sucks.

I don’t know why Nick Carter feels that he should still be relevant, but it’s interesting that the only way people talk about him is when he’s talking about his ex-girlfriends. It wasn’t too long ago that he was ripping Paris Hilton. This time he’s moving onto another ex, Ashlee Simpson.
Nick was on the Johnjay and Rich show in Phoenix on Friday, and he dug right in to Ashlee’s new look. For the whole thing, click here, but this is my favorite part.

So rumor has it that there is an Eva Longoria sex tape on the loose. Considering that she always tops the lists of hottest women, I imagine the sales of this sex tape (assuming there really is one) breaking some serious records.
Although the tape is said to exist, no one has posted it online so the rumor hasn’t been substantiated.
When discussing her sex life with Tony Parker, Eva has said,
“Tony’s only been with one other person in his life. I’m the experienced one. I’m the teacher, especially about love.”
I bet Tony was really pleased when he read that quote. I wonder if she’ll add the tape to her self-made Eva shrine in her house. Creepy.

Shakira is showing her love for Central and South America and giving back to the people who live there. While at the Clinton Global Initiative conference in New York, Shakira announced that she would donate $45 million to help various areas in Latin America plagued by problems that have gone unfixed.
$40 million will be given to Peru and Nicaragua to help with rebuilding and other efforts after earthquakes and hurricanes devastated the regions. The remaining $5 will be donated to educational projects for children who live in poverty and cannot afford proper schooling in Latin American countries.
That’s unreal - $45 million?! You go Shakira - I hope the money is put to good use.

Oscar De La Hoya is not denying the scandalous photos leaked on the web are him, he is however, still claiming they’re photoshopped.
If they are photoshopped, that’s a better job than all the Britney Spears magazine shoots combined. Although, his head does look a little jacked up in some of them.

Michelle Rodriguez might be off to the slammer. The girl has been arrested for a hit and run, DUI, and driving with a suspended license. And she continues to violate her probation by refusing to perform community service and not following her alcohol monitoring program. The city attorney is now going after her.
The attorney believes even if she does step up, Rodriguez should still be put in the slammer for a “substantial jail time” but not the max, which would be 537 days.
Something tells me Michelle might enjoy spending some time in jail…

The camel colored boots, that I happen to loathe, do not go with the belt at all. She’s refuses to pay attention to the top of her head, could she possibly think it actually looks good?
The only positive note, she’s wearing panties.
Instead of cosmetics, Britney needs to be addicted to salon quality hair weaves — hair dye and stylish clothes that fit. I keep waiting for the day when this woman actually pulls it together.

Nicole Richie is already six months pregnant, but she has decided that now is the time to enroll in a lengthy, anti-drinking education program. Ok, she had to do it for court after she drove the wrong way down a freeway on Vicodin and marijuana, but I feel like this information would have been a lot more helpful to her a while ago.
Papers were filed with the Superior Court of California showing that on September 26, Nicole signed up for an 18-month anti-drinking driver course called the SB 38 Alcohol Program, typically used by people convicted of more than one DUI within 7 years.
There will be 52 hours of group counseling, bi-weekly face-to-face interviews, and 12 hours of alcohol education. She’ll also be encouarged to attend 12-step meetings.
I think with the baby Nicole is really going to turn it around, but just in case they might want to require a driver’s education class about which direction one normally travels on roadways, and perhaps a class on the effects of weed and perscription drugs on one’s ability to drive. I’m just sayin’.

I don’t know why, but I love Lily Allen. She’s kinda crazy, and there’s always drama, but I like the music and she’s just so out there that it’s fun. And now there’s even more reason to like her - Lily Allen is fighting the super-skinny model craze, and she’s on a mission to get more curvy women modeling.
Lily’s anger began when she launched a High Street line at the same time as Kate Moss and was compared to the supermodel.
“I’m a size 10 with a size 8 top and was made to feel fat next to someone like Kate Moss,” the 22-year-old tells Cosmopolitan.
