O.J. Simpson is ‘On the Loose’ – Out on $125,000. Bail!

O.J. Simpson, who is facing armed robbery and kidnapping charges among other felonies, has been granted bail to tune of $125,000. He cannot contact any potential witnesses or leave the United States.

O.J. Simpson walked out of the Clark County Detention Center on Wednesday after paying the $125,000 bail set earlier in the day.
Video from outside the jail showed Simpson, wearing a grey suit and white shirt, get into a car that was immediately driven away.
Simpson had to surrender his passport, but he is allowed to return to his home in Miami, Florida, and travel elsewhere within the continental United States.
During his hearing earlier Wednesday, Judge Joe Bonaventure read 11 charges against the former football star stemming from an alleged robbery last week in a Las Vegas hotel.
Simpson was wearing a blue jail jumpsuit and handcuffs. He spoke only in direct response to Bonaventure’s questions. – Watch Simpson’s demeanor in court.
Simpson will be arraigned the week of October 22, when he will plead not guilty to the charges, defense attorney Yale Galanter said.
The judge also told Simpson he must refrain from contacting any alleged victims, witnesses or co-defendants in the case.
The charges include multiple counts of first-degree kidnapping with a weapon, robbery with a weapon, burglary with a weapon, coercion and conspiracy to commit kidnapping and robbery.
The kidnapping charges were added Tuesday.
