Brad Pitt To Play Unabomber?
Brad Pitt’s production company, Plan B, is considering a biopic about the Unabomber, Ted Kaczynski, but it hasn’t been formalized and there’s no official word on who would play the lead. Although there is speculation that it would be Brad Pitt behind the beard and hoodie, Brad’s publicist, Cindy Guagenti, tries to clarify.
[She] confirms that Plan B is “looking at†a Unabomber script, but stresses that the production company is not yet involved in a formal way. “It’s not a project they’ve taken on yet,†she says. “It’s something they’re looking at.†She adds that Plan B’s execs get “a million scripts thrown at them†and not always for Pitt. “He doesn’t star in everything they produce, clearly.†If it does happen, it won’t be soon. “He’s got so many movies lined up,†she says.
Personally, I can see Brad doing an excellent job in this story, either as the Unabomber himself or maybe his brother, David, the anti-death-penalty activist who turned Ted in to the authorities.
