Diddy has reluctantly admitted to being the father of 15-month-old Chance after DNA tests proved the baby is his daughter. The baby’s mother is Sarah Chapman of Atlanta. Diddy has agreed to financially support the little girl.

“At first, I wasn’t sure if this was my child,” he said. “Now that it has become clear she is, I will take care of her for the rest of her life.”

He says that he is “committed to being a good father”, and he has already worked out visitation and support terms with Chapman.

When asked whether the news of the baby girl was a factor in their June break-up, ex-girlfriend Kim Porter replied, “Hmmm … Well, that definitely was part of it.” The exes welcomed twin girls last December. They also have an 8-year-old son, Christian. Diddy has a 13-year-old son, Justin, with ex-girlfriend Misa Hylton-Brim.

Well, that was nice of Diddy to step up … after 15 months of DNA tests and delay.
