Annie Lennox Flips Off Unthankful Fans
Annie Lennox was in concert Tuesday night and she got a little fed up with some unappreciative fans. Don’t you people know you’re watching Annie Lennox perform? Silence! Anyway, while she was playing at Cipriani Wall Street to benefit UNICEF, the audience started clapping before she finished her second song, apparently as a signal to get off the stage. So Annie Lennox flipped off her fans.
Reportedly,
“She got ticked, finished the song, then sarcastically said, ‘Thank you for listening’ and gave them the finger. She said everyone was loud and rude and they should have their five mojitos and ‘go see KC and the Sunshine Band if you want to act that way.’”

First off�they were not FANS that Annie Lennox flipped off. They were a drunk, chatty crowd who were SUPPOSED to be there to support the UNICEF project and enjoy some extraordinary entertainment. Regardless of the fact that Annie Lennox has sold over 78 million records, won countless Brits and Grammys and an Academy Award, ANY artist on stage should receive respect. I�m glad she had the courage to flip off such a �prestigious crowd.�
