Joaquin Phoenix Gets Into The Role

Talk about getting into the role. When Joaquin Phoenix was filming “We Own The Night”, he had to film a vomiting scene. And no, he wasn’t faking it.
He says,
“You take a lot of cereal, you drink a lot of milk and you pound down two waters in a row and you jump up and down and you put your hand down your throat and you wiggle it all around until you vomit.”
That’s disgusting - was it necessary to share this with us?
