Sherri Shepherd of ABC’s ‘The View’ has never voted!
Before you get too upset, lets remember this is the same woman who thought the world was flat.

On The View this morning, Sherri Shepherd recounted her close call of almost missing the cutoff for registering to vote via absentee ballot for the election in November. (Shepherd resides in New York, but is a California resident.) And apparently this is the first time that Sherri will be voting…ever!
Having turned 18 in 1985, the now-41-year-old has missed out on the past five presidential elections because she “never knew the dates or anything.” She said it was important to vote in this one, though, because otherwise, she wouldn’t have a right to complain on The View about whomever is elected for an entire year. (She probably meant to say “four years.”)

She has never voted because she was raised a Jehovah’s Witness and Witnesses dont vote. They stay neutral on matters like politics. Even though she no longer claims to be a Witness, she is obviously still holding on to some of the beliefs she was raised with. Many times on the show she comes across as very clueless on matters of the world, like voting, the holidays, politics basic history and science. Not all witnesses are like this, but there are a few that manage to remain in the dark on issues important to worldly people. ( anyone not a jehovah’s witness)
