It's been reported by several reporters that she is in for depression. Which is why the PR person said, "Eva has been working hard for the past year and made a positive decision to take some much-needed time off to proactively attend to some personal issues that, while not critical, she felt deserved some outside professional support." After reading all the PR releases over the years by various celebs when they go in for alcohol or drugs, this press release isn't worded in the same way as releases from celebs with drug/alcohol problems. Apparently she's been suffering from depression, and if she's getting help for it, then it must be pretty bad. Ahh… not sure where you’re getting that substance abuse is the reason she went in.
