Jessica Simpson Hurts ‘Millions’ of Fat People
Jessica Simpson’s father (and manager), Joe Simpson, is being sued by fitness video company Speedfit for allegedly blocking the sale of a DVD starring his daughter.

After signing a multi-million dollar contract, Jessica, 27, recorded a workout tape for Speedfit shortly before shooting her role as Daisy Duke in 2005’s The Dukes of Hazzard.
Jessica then changed her mind about doing the tape and her father Joe banned its release, Speedfit claims.
Now Speedfit owner Alex Astilean has filed suit against Joe after failing to secure a $10 million settlement from his daughter last year.
The New York Post first reported news of the suit.
“They are hurting millions of fat people in America!” Astilean tells Usmagazine.com. “I believe that very strongly — they held the video for years!”
Simpson’s rep told the Post: “It’s a legal matter that’s in the hands of attorneys.”
