Star Jones, You’re Fired… Again
TruTV has canceled Star Jones Reynolds‘ legal-focused talk show after a six-month run.

The last episode of the show, which aired at 3 p.m. weekdays, will be Friday . “Arrest & Trial” will run in that slot. Reynolds was also fired from ‘The View‘.
“Due to the rebranding and programming refocus of the network, truTV and Star Jones Reynolds have mutually agreed to cease production of ‘The Star Jones Show,”‘ said a memo from Marc Juris, executive vice president and general manager of the channel formerly known as Court TV.
The show, which began in August, showcased Reynolds’ work as a TV host and former lawyer. She will remain with the network as a contributor to the channel’s trial coverage.
Jones Reynolds, who was an assistant district attorney and senior assistant district attorney in Brooklyn, New York, began her broadcast career with Court TV in 1991. She also has worked for NBC and “Inside Edition” and became co-host of ABC chatfest “The View” in 1997.
I was surprised she got this gig in the first place, she’s horrible.

I think she needs to bone up on her legal skills and go back to practicing law. She has lost media appeal.
