Tyra Banks Challenges PETA

Tyra Banks had the contestants on America’s Next Top Model literally wear slabs of meat for their latest photo shoot.

Doesn’t that look yummy?

There were beef bras and beef panties all over the place. Seriously, this is truly a sick concept…. disgusting. Come on Tyra, you can do better than this.

I love that TYRA is taking on racist ass PETA.

they compare African slaves to abused animals.

we are not animals…

All people are animals, and slavery caused the unnecessary restraint, unwilling servitude and murder of millions of people.

Get over yourself. Using simile is quite different from saying two things are exactly the same. What do you suggest, killing a few cows to get back at PETA for saying something that doesn’t agree with you? That would make you a grade A idiot.

This photoshoot is disgusting.

I love you Alitax.

While I think Peta is too contradictory and immature (not always, but often), I am ALL for animal rights.

lanette,

I agree we are Not animals, in a sense, BUT, we are all fellow earthlings! Human beings should live beside others or even have dominion over some animals, but never tyrany. No one/nothing deserves to be treated the way animals often are (as slaves shouldn’t have been either).

An animal or human shouldn’t have less rights because it is: smaller, doesn’t talk, or doesn’t have the same mental skills.

That would be like saying that it is ok to abuse a handicapped person simply because they are handicapped.

How the hell is comparing animals that have no say in the way they are treated (kep in cages/shackles, beaten, and killed brutally and then their pus filled corpses eaten)

to slaves who had no say in the horrible ways they were treated????

They have their similarities, No?
Do you disagree that slaves had no say over the way they were treated, were used and abused, were kept in shackles and beaten, were starved and denied rights and medical treatment?

no you disagree?

if not, then YOU are agree that slaves were treated as animals often are.

I could agree with you, but then we’d both be wrong.

Sure, you can argue that animals are made out of meat, but so are people…is canniblism ok?
