Britney Spears Pays More Legal Fees

The commissioner in the Britney Spears conservatorship case has just ordered her to pay almost 400,000 in legal fees to various lawyers in the case. I guess some of them were unemployed and needed a paycheck.

But that’s just the beginning. Andrew Wallet, a co-conservator, just got the green light for up to $100,000. And the Luce Forward law firm will get up to $175,000, and that’s just for their work through March 31.

Clark Byam, another attorney, will get $22,500. Stacy Phillips, the lawyer repping Brit in the family law case, will get up to $75,000 for work through March 31.

Can you say legal extortion? That’s like the equivalent of 200,000 Fraps, no?

The poor girl is being forced to take odd jobs [Bally Total Fitness] — just to pay Kevin and his attorney’s. This is why Kevin is in no hurry to give any custody back to Spears, it’s his only income.

quote2_thumbnail.jpgBrit’s parents have both been talking to Bally about making a deal. Daddy Jamie has the power as co-conservator to make it happen. It all happened because Larry Rudolph, who is coming back to manage the Britster, has a close friendship with John Wildman, the Chief Marketing Officer of Bally.

During the negotiations, Brit has been going to the club at least once a day and up to as many as three times a day. She’s training with two of the company’s top personal trainers — we’re guessing one for the front and one for the back. She’s also working with the company’s nutritionist, who has put Britney on five to six quality meals a day. No Taco Bell, no Fanta … life can really suck.
