Jade Goody: ‘Some People Think I Deserve to Die’

Jade Goody, the former Big Brother star, who has just a 50 per cent chance of beating cervical cancer, says that wishing on her a death sentence because of racism allegations in Celebrity Big Brother is wrong.

“There are people out there who think I deserve to be sick and to die, but I’d never wish this on anyone, not even Bin Laden, not that he has a womb. This isn’t something I’ve brought on myself. Some people will say it’s about time I got my punishment, but my whole life has been awful. I can’t waste my time thinking about these people. I need to think about me and my boys.”

Jade, who has just undergone an eight-hour operation to remove her womb, has already cut her hair short in preparation for a year-and-a-half course of chemotherapy and radiotherapy soon.

The 27-year-old was misdiagnosed four times before doctors finally discovered she had stage three cancer.

Now the brave reality star, who has two boys, Freddie, five, and three-year-old Bobby, has even begun planning her funeral and writing a will.

She told OK! magazine:

“I’ve started writing a will which kind of makes you realize that you are going to die. I have to think about what I’m going to leave my kids or who I’m going to leave them with. The only person good enough for my kids is me.”
