Kiefer Sutherland Releases A Statement

Kiefer Sutherland headbutted fashion designer, Jack McCollough at last week’s Met Gala afterparty over allegedly “jostling” Brooke Shields. Now, his camp is releasing a statement saying that he doesn’t feel that he did anything wrong.
“We are troubled by the untruthful and self-serving information circulating regarding Kiefer Sutherland and events of last Monday evening. We are confident, however, that the investigation being conducted by the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office and the NYPD will confirm that Kiefer Sutherland was neither the instigator nor a wrongdoer in this incident. Out of respect for this law enforcement process, Kiefer Sutherland will not be making any comment.”
Kiefer was not arrested, but was charged with misdemeanor assault stemming from the incident. He was issued with a desk appearance ticket and is due in court for arraignment in the coming weeks.
