According to UK’s Daily Mail, he was not given a breathalyzer test at the scene but was taken to a north London police station.

The 47-year-old star was released on bail until August. “Police were called at approximately 3.30 AM on Sunday to reports of a vehicle in collision with a building … A man in his 40s was arrested on suspicion of being unfit to drive. He was taken to a north London police station and later bailed to return on August 13 pending inquiries,” a Metropolitan Police spokesman told the newspaper.

In 2007, the ‘Faith’ singer was arrested in Cricklewood, north-west London, after motorists reported a car obstructing the road at traffic lights. He pleaded guilty to driving while while under the influence of drugs. He was banned from driving for two years and sentenced to community service.

At the time, he told the BBC that his cannabis use was a problem, and he wished he could smoke less of it and was constantly trying to do so.

Last year, he was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence when his Land Rover hit a lorry on the A34 in Berkshire. He was released without charge because he had just completed a two-year driving ban at the time.
