Jennifer Aniston Calls Herself a ‘Retard’
Oops. Jennifer Aniston used the r-word on Live With Regis and Kelly this morning.
She was having a pleasant conversation with Regis Philbin and guest co-host Kristin Cruz from Los Angeles’ KOST 103.5 radio station about Harper’s Bazaar and her Barbra Streisand photo shoot.
They were looking at photos and chatting. “It was just fun,” said Aniston of the shoot.
Regis replied: “You’re playing dress up!”
And Aniston said, “Yes, I play dress up! I do it for a living, like a retard!” The crowd laughed. (You can see it in this YouTube clip at about the 2-minute mark.)Aniston went on to talk about Streisand.
But chatter on Twitter started heating up about the inappropriate remark, and now Hollywoodlife.com is chiding the star for not being “more careful” in choosing her words.
