Brad Womack to Be the Next Bachelor

Move over ‘Bachelor’ potentials Chris Lambton and Ty Brown — here comes runaway (wannabe) groom Brad Womack to ABC’s rescue?!

Sources say the 37-year-old Texan—who’s famous for breaking both Deanna Pappas and Jenni Croft’s hearts in 2007 on the Season 11 finale by choosing no one—is close to sealing the deal for another round of heartbreaking as the next ‘Bachelor‘!

“Brad is very sincere and believes in the show,” tells a source close to Us Weekly. “That’s why he didn’t pick someone last time. He was never in it for the publicity. He wants to find a wife.”

While producers are still considering fellow southerner Ty Brown, 31, it looks like our fave 33-year-old Cape Cod Bachie Chris Lambton is out of the running, mostly likely going fishing—on his own terms.

“Chris has been living large,” says an insider. “He isn’t ready to settle down and is having a blast being single.”
