George Lopez & Wife Ann Are Divorcing
I guess there’s trouble in paradise with former couple George and Ann Lopez. The twosome have filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences.
The two got married in 1993 and share a 15-year-old daughter named Mayan. In 2004, George was told that he had a genetic condition which caused a deterioration in his kidneys. In 2005, his wife Ann donated one of her kidneys to him to give him “the gift of life.”
The two have just announced that they are divorcing, but intend to keep everything amicable for the sake of their daughter. TMZ reports:
Sources say George and Ann have been working out details of the split “for a long time,” but they’ve both made the decision to end the marriage.
Earlier this year, George was plagued by rumors that he was paying hookers for sex and threesomes. Now that makes me wonder if that was really true.
Good luck to them, at least they’re being adults about it.
