The National Enquirer says Anderson Cooper and his boyfriend will adopt a Haitian baby. Even crazier than that, the National Enquirer is talking about Cooper’s boyfriend on the front page.
Unlike when Page Six made a veiled reference to his relationship with Benjamin Maisani, this story is putting it out there in every supermarket checkout and news stand in America.
After saving one on national television, Anderson is said to be bringing home a Haitian orphan of his own and will raise it with Maisani.
You know, the whole “adopting a baby” thing is just a front, so the Enquirer has a reason to talk about his personal life.

Babies these days just can’t catch a break. When parents aren’t turning their infants into LOLCats, they’re posting every waking moment (literally) of their existence to the Internet for the whole world to go gaga over. Or, every now and then, they’re dumb enough to publish photos so scandalous that social services comes a-knocking.
The BBC reports that police in Essex, U.K. have undertaken a criminal investigation after photos of a baby with an unlit cigarette in its mouth were posted to Facebook. Several people notified authorities on Saturday, and Southend police then tracked the source of the photo back to Rebecca Davey’s home in Westcliff, where they found “no immediate concerns” (although they will be visiting the residence again). According to Sue Cook, head of Southend’s specialist children services, social services visited Davey’s home yesterday to “carry out an assessment aimed at ensuring that any child within the household is being appropriately cared for.”
Davey, for her part, was pretty upset about the whole thing, later updating her status to say, “Some w***** reported me to the police abwt picture off ollie.” Some of her friends voiced their own support, saying things like “Some ppl r nosey f****** aint they!! dw [don't worry] ur a good mum they wont hassle u 4 long!!!”

Kourtney Kardashian recently popped out the baby named after their Miami store and the guy who they thought is the father, might not be the father.
Someone needs to call Maury Povich already and get this tragedy sorted out! Apparently, while Kourtney was on the outs with her douche boyfriend Scott Disick, she was also doing the horizontal mambo with Premo Stallone.
Coincidentally, this guy looks like a reject from “Jersey Shore”, but I’m not judging. After having said that, I’d still hit it…with a freakin’ stick.
A close pal of the Kardashians says that they’ve hooked up, saying, “Kourtney hooked up with Michael [Premo] twice while she and Scott were on the outs. He’s definitely been mentioned as a possibility for being the father of her baby.”
When Premo was asked if the possibility was there, he said, “You could say that, yeah.”

Britney Spears‘ ex Keven Federline has apparently decided to pee in the gene pool yet again, this time impregnating future ex Victoria Prince.
Sources close to Prince say that she was recently sick during a trip to Vegas, and took a pregnancy test, which was positive. K-Fed was reportedly unhappy about the result, since he has four other children by two different women.
I hope for her sake that it was a false positive. The Federmeister has a bad track record when it comes to women birthing his spawn. We’ll wait and see how this develops.

Janine Lindemulder, former porn star wife of Jesse James, was recently released from a six month stint in prison for tax evasion, and has now decided to publicly attack Jesse and wife Sandra Bullock over custody of Janine and Jesse’s daughter, five year old Sunny James.
On Good Morning America yesterday, Lindemulder made several statements in regards to Sandra Bullock, whom she seems particularly pissed off at. She stated,
“What would give her the right to take away my daughter? This is my daughter. I’m the best mother I can be.”
Oh, and Janine’s new husband is also a convicted felon.
Bullock has written a letter to the judge that will be hearing the case, mentioning Janine’s drug use and accusing her of neglecting Sunny James:
“I myself have stopped working like I used to in order to be here with Jesse and the kids because we are on constant high alert, never knowing what condition Janine will be in, and even more concerning, the condition Sunny will be in. While in Janine’s care, sometimes Sunny is left alone during the day, while her mother is asleep from drug use.”
This one looks like it could get pretty ugly, and I believe that running to the press to plead her case was a pretty stupid move on Janine Lindemulder’s part. Making this a public fight will only turn people against her.

A prestigious art museum in London is under fire for their decision to display a nude photo of a 10-year-old Brooke Shields that critics and child advocates fear will be a “magnet for pedophiles.”

The image, titled ‘Spiritual America,’ is the work of Richard Prince and shows the young actress naked from the knees up, wearing make-up and covered in oil. She is looking directly at the camera.
Tate Modern decided to display the image in their ‘Pop Life: Art In a Material World‘ show after seeking legal advice and moved the piece to a separate room that warns visitors of its “challenging imagery.”
‘Spiritual America’ is actually a 1983 photograph of a 1975 photograph taken by artist Gary Gross, who hired Shields as a model and claims he had her mother’s consent. She tried unsuccessfully to buy back the negatives in 1981, before Prince incorporated it as his own. A judge ruled her as a “hapless victim of a contract.”
Children’s advocates reacted to the Tate’s decision with shock. Michaele Elliott, founder of Kidscape, told the Telegraph he felt Shields was being exploited.
“She could not have given informed consent to it being used. It must be bordering on child pornography. It is certainly not art.
If you are using a picture of a naked child to bring people to your exhibition, then you are exploiting that child. It’s as if they are using a 10-year-old girl for bait. I find it disturbing and they should be ashamed of themselves. And putting the picture in a room with a warning outside really is a magnet for pedophiles.”
Well, apparently that contract really doesn’t mean jack. The image has been removed from display after a visit to Tate Modern by officers from the obscene publications unit of the Metropolitan police.

Elton John’s bid to adopt a HIV-infected Ukrainian child will be rejected, according to a government minister.
Sir Elton and his male partner David Furnish want to adopt 14-month-old Lev who they met at an orphanage in the Ukrainian city of Makeyevka last Saturday.
However Ukraine requires that adoptive parents be married and does not recognise same sex weddings, Family, Youth and Sports Minister Yuriy Pavlenko told The Associated Press.
Mr Pavlenko also said at age 62, John is too old to adopt according to Ukrainian law that requires a prospective adoptive parent to be no more than 45 years.
Sir Elton had previously said that he recognized his age might be a problem and that Mr Furnish might have to take the lead, although the Canadian filmmaker is himself 46.
The proposed adoption has been controversial, especially with Sir Elton previously jokingly dismissing the idea that he might join celebrities such as Madonna and Angelina Jolie in adopting children from disadvantaged countries.
Child advocates in the UK have warned children must be carefully screened in cases of international adoption as children are sometimes put into orphanages as a calculated means of getting them into a wealthier Western family.
The child has HIV, do you really think he has much of a chance of being adopted otherwise? I say let Elton adopt him, and give the child the best possible chance at having a good life.

Georgia May Jagger has posed topless for a new series of ads for Hudson jeans. When her older sister, Elizabeth (then 20), walked down the catwalk in in 2004 in an outfit that left nothing above the waist to the imagination, her famous father responded with noticeable horror.
Now the London Daily Mail reports that Jagger, 65, is “dubious” about his teenage daughter’s career choices. Georgia May is the third child of Jagger and Jerry Hall.
Billboards and magazine ads featuring the girl wearing nothing but jeans and lying on her stomach (her rear end in the air and her right arm covering her breasts) will start appearing in September for the United States-based jeans company.
David Lipman, a company spokesman, told the Daily Mail the girl’s hand-me-down celebrity status played a role in her getting the gig.
“It’s all about the heritage of having Mick Jagger as a a dad and Jerry Hall as a mum.
But more than anything, it’s her spirit that captivates me.”
Georgia May told the Mail that her mother has been supportive and has given her modeling tips.
“She always says, ‘Be nice to everyone, even if you don’t like it. Just be nice and gracious, And don’t show your bum.’ “

Michael Jackson’s ex-wife Debbie Rowe was in a feisty mood on Sunday. While leaving a restaurant in Lancaster, Calif., Rowe snapped back at a photographer who was peppering her with questions about the custody of her kids with the late pop star.
“Are you ready to fight for your children?” one reporter asked repeatedly. After he got a little close, Rowe lashed out: “Are you ready to get your butt kicked? Don’t f—-in’ touch me!”
Rowe, the biological mother of two of the children, told a NBCLA reporter last week that she’ll fight for custody. She’s planning on seeking a restraining order against Michael Jackson’s father, Joe Jackson. “I am stepping up. I have to,” Rowe said.
She’s fighting to get custody of the three children left behind by Jackson: Michael Joseph Jr. (12), Paris Michael Katherine (11) and Prince Michael II (7). Prince Michael II was born to an unidentified surrogate mother. Rowe said during the interview that she doesn’t want to split the children up, and though she doesn’t expect to gain custody of Prince Michael II since he’s not her biological child, she’d be willing to accept custody of him.
Rowe, now 50, surrendered her parental rights during her divorce from Jackson in 1999.
In Jackson’s 2002 will, he requested that his mother be named guardian of the children, and also specifically states that Rowe should not get any inheritance. “I have intentionally omitted to provide for my former wife, Deborah Jean Rowe Jackson,” Jackson’s will states.
There will be a custody hearing on July 13 to determine whether Jackson’s mother will remain guardian to the children.
An attorney for Rowe said on Monday that she is backing out of plans to attend the pop star’s memorial service on Tuesday. Marta Almli said her attendance would be “an unnecessary distraction” and that Rowe will “celebrate Michael’s memory privately.”

Katherine Jackson filed a petition Monday asking the court to appoint her as guardian of Michael Jackson’s three children.
According to TMZ, the petition states the kids have “no relationship with their biological mother,” Debbie Rowe.
She is also petitioning to take over the children’s estate. Its value is listed as “unknown” in the filing.
The filings do not state whether Michael left a will.
A hearing has been set for Aug 3.
Michael has two children with ex Rowe –Prince, 12, and Paris, 11. His third child, Prince Michael II, 7, was born to a surrogate (the mother’s identity was never revealed). The court filings Monday list her whereabouts as “unknown.”
The estranged daughter of Billy Bob Thornton has been indicted on several charges in the death of a 1-year-old girl she was baby sitting in central Florida.
Amanda Brumfield, 29, was booked at the Orange County Jail on Wednesday. She faces charges of first-degree murder, aggravated child abuse and aggravated manslaughter of a child.
Court records show she told investigators the infant who died in her care in October acted normally and ate bananas after she fell from a playpen and hit her head. But detectives believe Brumfield’s story is inconsistent with the girl’s injuries.
The child was her goddaughter.
An autopsy completed in March concluded that the short fall, estimated at about 28 inches in height, could not have caused the skull fracture and brain bleed that lead to the child’s death.
It was not immediately clear whether Brumfield had an attorney. A telephone message left at the jail was not returned Thursday morning.
Thornton’s publicist has said the actor hasn’t spoken to Brumfield for a number of years.
Prosecutors have not released what they think happened or given a motive.

Marking the first public statement since her daughter Chastity Bono — now Chaz Bono — announced that she was undergoing a sex change, Cher is coming out to lend words of support for her daughter.
Cher says that Chaz is going through “a difficult journey, but one that I will support,” and says that she respects “the courage it takes to go through this transition in the glare of public scrutiny, and although I may not understand, I will strive to be understanding,” in a statement to UsMagazine.com.
Cher continued with kind words for her daughter, saying that her support is infinite.
“The one thing that will never change is my abiding love for my child.”
TMZ reported that Chaz Bono was undergoing a sex change from female to male. Bono’s publicist Howard Bragman stated,
“Yes, it’s true — Chaz, after many years of consideration, has made the courageous decision to honor his true identity.
He is proud of his decision and grateful for the support and respect that has already been shown by his loved ones. It is Chaz’s hope that his choice to transition will open the hearts and minds of the public regarding this issue, just as his ‘coming out’ did nearly 20 years ago.”

Cher is about to get a new son. She must be thrilled.
Chastity Bono, the celebrity offspring of the singer and late husband Sonny Bono, is changing gender from female to male, her publicist told the Daily News on Thursday.
The 40-year-old, known to family and friends as Chaz, came out as a lesbian nearly two decades ago. Bono intends to make the transition from woman to man, publicist Howard Bragman said.
“Chaz, after many years of consideration, has made the courageous decision to honor his true identity,” Bragman said.
“He is proud of his decision and grateful for the support and respect that has already been shown by loved ones.
“It is Chaz’s hope that his choice to transition will open the hearts and minds of the public regarding this issue, just as his coming out did nearly 20 years ago.”
Bragman declined to answer any further questions about the sex change.
Transitioning typically involves hormone therapy, and sometimes – although not always – includes surgery.

Publicist Howard Bragman said Bono is proud of his decision and hopes “that his choice to transition will open the hearts and minds of the public regarding this issue.”
The 40-year-old writer, activist and reality-TV star came out as gay 20 years ago, Bragman said.
In the book “Family Outing: A Guide to the Coming-Out Process for Gays, Lesbians, & Their Families,” Bono describes the realization of being “somehow different — specifically different from who my mom expected me to be.”
I grew up on “Sonny and Cher” and Chastity is only slightly younger than I am, so there’s something a bit surreal about this. I am reminded of a classic lyric from the late, great Jerry Reed:
Now, there ain’t no sexy dresses
And there ain’t no beehive hair
Just boys who look like girls
Who look like boys, who look like Cher
On a more serious note, I’m never sure what the implications of this are. Will Bono be considered “straight” after successful reassignment surgery? Or was s/he never gay to begin with, merely transgendered and unaware of that fact.
