Leaving most of their brood back home, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were spotted out and about with sons Pax, 4, and Maddox, 7, on Tuesday (October 7).
The “Mr and Mrs Smith” co-star couple were paying a visit to the Lower Ninth Ward Housing project in New Orleans - making sure that everything’s going according to plan.
Brad shared some positive news on Monday - announcing that his Make It Right Foundation has raised enough money to build 90 homes (6 more than expected as of late August) as part of the Hurricane Katrina rebuilding effort.
When asked whether the New Orleans project was his top priority, Pitt explained that his family comes first, adding that the “love of my family brings me here.”

Jamie Lynn Spears is reportedly pregnant yet again. According to the National Enquirer the 17-year-old is shocked at the pregnancy, that comes just three months after giving birth to baby Maddie Briann.
Jamie’s desperate to keep the shocking news secret and some people close to her are urging Jamie Lynn to consider ending the pregnancy, sources say.
“Jamie Lynn is about eight weeks pregnant, and she and her mom Lynne are hysterical,” revealed a close source. “Neither of them knows what to do, but for now they’re trying to keep the news from getting out.”
The unplanned pregnancy came as a shock to Jamie Lynn, who’d been breast-feeding her infant daughter Maddie Briann, insiders say.
“Jamie Lynn believed she couldn’t get pregnant while she was breast-feeding,” said the close source. “She’d expected to have her period by early September.” A home pregnancy test came back positive and Jamie Lynn cried her eyes out, said the source.
Her mother Lynne was livid when she found out, divulged an insider. Meanwhile, insiders say that those close to Jamie Lynn are urging her to abort!
“They’ve reminded Jamie Lynn how much trouble she had adjusting to motherhood with Maddie, and pointed out that having a second baby now would only be a recipe for disaster,” said the close source.
Now I know the National Enquirer isn’t known for being the most reliable source, but they did break the first pregnancy news and this is the Spears family after all.

Eddie Van Halen is engaged to his girlfriend/publicist Janie Liszewski.
Van Halen, 53, proposed to Liszewski, 38, on Aug. 4 while they were vacationing in Hawaii. The rock guitarist dropped to one knee and popped the question in a private room at Tiffany’s. The couple plan to wed next June.
“They are happy, healthy, very much in love and looking forward to living life together forever,” says the source. “They are devoted to each other and to experiencing life in a whole new, positive and passionate way.”
It will be the second marriage for Van Halen. He was married to actress Valerie Bertinelli, with whom he has a 17-year-old son, Wolfgang. It will be the first marriage for Liszewski.
Van Halen returned to touring in April after missing a number of concert dates while undergoing tests for a mystery illness.
In 2002, Van Halen announced that he had recovered from tongue cancer.

Kim Kardashian is forever battling the rumor that she has gone under the knife and had plastic surgery.
Wanting to set the record straight once and for all, Kim posted a shot of herself at 14 years old in a bikini on her blog this morning.
QUICK NOTE: I have decided to post this picture to finally put all of the plastic surgery rumors to rest! (BTW, in the ’90s it must have been cool to wear my bikini hiked so high up. LOL!)

I HAVE NOT EVER HAD PLASTIC SURGERY!!!
I am definitely not against it at all, but haven’t yet had it! Personally, lip injections are the thing I would never do—even if I didn’t have full lips.
I think lip injections look very fake and bad and I wouldn’t want to kiss anyone with stuff in their lips—so I wouldn’t do it to myself.
This is a picture of me when I was about 14 years old in a bikini. I hope after seeing this you guys will never ask me a plastic surgery question again! I have had a size C since I was 11 years old! So one day I will definitely get a lift, but I am waiting until after I have kids. Until then I rely on a great supportive bra! LOL!
All the butt implant rumors are just so not true and now just silly to me. I have answered dozens of times “no I do not have butt implants,” but people just don’t seem to want to believe it!
I have always had an insecurity with my nose… People also have assumed I have had a nose job, but I have not! I look exactly the same as I did when I was a kid, except my nose has grown a little. I hate the bump on the side of my nose, but am way too afraid to mess with my face!
If you are considering plastic surgery, please please please know you can never ever change it back and you will never be the same. That could be a very good thing or a very bad thing! Make sure you have thought long and hard and that the plastic surgeon is board certified and has an amazing track record!
Don’t ever take the cheaper way out! This is your body and ultimately your life!

Angelina Jolie emerged today for the first time since US reports claimed she is suffering from a form of post-natal depression.
The Hollywood actress cut a serious figure as she touched down at a New York airport with partner Brad Pitt and their brood of six, including adorable two-year-old Shiloh.
The 32-year-old is preparing for the US premiere of her new movie The Changeling next week, which will mark her first public appearance since giving birth to Vivienne and Knox in July.
While Brad, 44, spent a lot of last month abroad promoting his new film Burn After Reading at the Venice and Toronto Film Festivals, Angelina avoided the spotlight, instead spending her time holed up at the Chateau Miraval in Provence, France.
Just last week the family relocated to the Palais Parkschloss villa south of Berlin while Brad shoots scenes for the new Quentin Tarantino movie, Inglorious Bastards.

A stolen picture of Jamie Lynn Spears breast feeding her baby has sparked a federal pornography investigation.
Law enforcement sources said that federal and local authorities are on the hunt for someone peddling 12 pics of Britney Spears, Jamie Lynn, daughter Maddie and baby daddy Casey Aldridge. One of the pictures shows Jamie Lynn breast feeding Maddie — Jamie Lynn’s left breast is exposed.
The pics were taken on Casey’s digital camera. We’re told he took the camera card to his local Wal-Mart in Louisiana for copies. Law enforcement believes someone at the Wal-Mart may have made extra copies, then tried selling them.
Because Jamie Lynn is a minor, selling the pics — or buying them — could constitute a violation of federal laws prohibiting pornography. Peddling pictures of a minor’s breast — even if not taken for sexual purposes — could land the seller and the buyer in federal prison if they are marketed across state lines for the purpose of being lurid. Also, anyone purchasing the pics could be prosecuted for the crime of receiving stolen property.
Other pics in the set include Britney holding the baby and one of Jamie Lynn, Britney, Brian (Brit’s bro), Lynne Spears and Jamie Spears around Jamie Lynn’s hospital bed. There are also pics of Maddie by herself, and there’s a picture of Jamie Lynn in a negligee holding the baby.
Authorities are trying to find the man who is attempting to sell the photos. In addition, Britney’s lawyers are thinking about going after Wal-Mart for the alleged security breach.

Around 20 members of the anti-Scientology group, Anonymous, protested outside of the theater. Some of them wore “V for Vendetta” masks while shouting “SAVE KATIE!”

Meredith Viera interviewed Lynne Spears on “Today” this morning to talk about her new book “Through the Storm.”
Basically, Lynne lives in her own world where she bakes cookies all day long like a good mother and really didn’t do anything wrong when raising her kids.
In the clip above, Lynne talks about how she wasn’t a stage mother. Britney pushed her. When Britney started to become a star, Lynne couldn’t travel with her, because she had to stay at home and raise Jamie Lynne. She compares it to sending your kids to college.
“You don’t really know what they’re doing in college … just as Britney set out two years earlier to be a star.”
On being a stage mom: “Britney pushed me.”
On it not being possible to be by Britney every second: “Did I want to be there? Of course!” she said. “Was it feasible? It wasn’t.”
On comparing Britney to a kid in college: “You don’t really know what they’re doing in college … just as Britney set out two years earlier to be a star,” she said.
On Britney in Hollywood: “She’s out there, she’s with the crowds and with her peer groups, and she’s doing things — she’s a celebrity, for heaven’s sake!”

On looking back at everything: “I have sat for hours, thinking and thinking about everything that’s happened. It’s been a whirlwind. When you mix extreme heightened celebrity hood and then when you have heartache … The mixture’s just not healthy.”

Britney Spears recently spoke with OK! magazine and shared a few insights — about her children and her mom, Lynne Spears, new “tell all” book.
If you were questioning Britney’s current lack of effort to win joint custody of her sons, Preston and Jayden, from her ex-husband Kevin Federline — the young mother hasn’t given up.
“Her goal is to regain joint custody of her sons, as soon as her dad Jamie’s status as her conservator ends.”
AND… in spite of all the controversy surrounding Lynne’s memoirs, it’s reported that there is no controversy.
“Regardless of what people might think, Britney isn’t upset about the book. After a tough last year, Brit and Lynne have a wonderful relationship again.”
Sounds like Larry Randolf is back to doing his job again. I’m glad that Britney and Lynne are talking again, but her parents still bother me.
If they had spent more time being parents, and less time looking for ways to benefit financially from Britney — well, let’s just say the last chapter might have been written differently.
