First the sad news of a separation today and now there is more sad news in the form that Kelly Brook has suffered a miscarriage nearly five months into her first pregnancy.
The Sun reports that Kelly has been comforted by her boyfriend, Thom Evans, the past after the pair sadly lost their unborn baby girl a week ago. It was the first child for both of them. A spokesperson for Kelly confirmed the news saying:
“I can confirm that Kelly and Thom have very sadly lost their baby. They request that everyone please respects their privacy at this very painful time. There will be no further comment.”
Kelly broke the news of her pregnancy through her Twitter account two months ago when she wrote “Thom and I are happy to announce we are expecting a baby girl. We are delighted XXXX”
On top of two depressing stories and getting bad news myself, I’m in some serious need of good news today.

 ‘Las Vegas’ star Nikki Cox and her husband actor/comedian Jay Mohr welcomed their first child together on Thursday.
Cox gave birth to a baby boy named Meredith Daniel Mohr, who weighed in at 6 lbs. 7 oz.
The proud new parents are reported saying, “We are over the moon, filled with joy and every other cliché new parents use.”
The couple also talked about their new son Meredith saying, “He’s perfect.”
Mohr, 40, and Cox, 32, were married on December 29, 2006.
The couple met two years earlier when Mohr guest-starred on Cox’s TV show ‘Las Vegas.’
Mohr also has a son named Jackson from a previous relationship with actress Nicole Chamberlain.

Mariah Carey gave birth to her newborn twins on Saturday in Los Angeles and has kept fans guessing as to what she named the boy and girl but today a rep for Mariah and Nick Cannon revealed their names to CNN.
The baby boy Moroccan Scott Cannon and the baby girl Monroe Cannon. The rep, who says “It has been a long, emotional journey for this family, and I couldn’t be happier for all of them,” went on to describe the inspiration behind the babies names. Here is what she had to say:
“Their son is named Moroccan Scott Cannon. Scott is Nick’s middle name, as well as his grandmother’s maiden name.
The top tier of Mariah’s New York City apartment is called the Moroccan Room, because of the Moroccan-inspired decor. It’s also the place where Nick proposed to his wife, overlooking Manhattan!
Their daughter’s name is Monroe Cannon. Mariah’s rep says she does not have a middle name because Mariah herself does not have one. Monroe was named after Marilyn Monroe, who has been an inspiration to Mariah her whole life.”
Thw twins were born on April 30, the same date as their third wedding anniversary. What do you think about the names? To be honest they’re not as outrageous as I expected them to be considering that Mariah is their mother.

The baby boom in Hollywood continues but I’m actually shocked with this one because the latest celebrity to announce her pregnancy is none other than January Jones.
You might remember that she broke up with her boyfriend, Jason Sudeikis, back in January so this baby news does come as quite a shock. A rep for the actress tells People:
“January Jones is happy to announce that she is expecting her first child this fall, she’s really looking forward to this new chapter in her life as a single mom.”
No word on who the father is or anything else but as we know she is planning on raising the baby as a single mother. Very random, but it kept me from hearing about the Royal Wedding for a while so that’s good.

Kate Hudson appeared on the Today Show yesterday where she showed off her engagement ring to Matt Lauer during an interview with him and what a ring it is.
Speaking about the engagement to Muse’s Matthew Bellamy she said “I haven’t really announced it, I was waiting for someone to notice,” she also said that the proposal was “romantic and sweet”.
Rumors first started swirling that they were engaged back when they announced she was expecting a baby back in January, there’s no word on when the couple will walk down the aisle.
I’m shocked that this relationship seems to be lasting given her track record with men.

The next form of generation of Jersey Shore trash is on it’s way already because Angelina Pivarnick is knocked up with her fiances, Dave Kovacs, baby.
The former Jersey Shore star confirmed to TMZ on Wednesday that she is pregnant with her first child but she wouldn’t go into any details as to how far gone she is or whether she is expecting a boy or a girl.
Angelina and Dave became engaged back in February but it was rumored that the public engagment was all a sham and just a publicity stunt although she insists it was real. With a mother like her I can only imagine how this baby is going to turn out.

Last week I posted photos of Miranda Kerr showing off her post-baby body in a bikini while doing a photoshoot and yet again I have the pleasure to post more of her doing what she does best.
Miranda was spotted in Malibu last week shooting these photos for Have Faith Swimwear and again she makes me think that she is some kind of superwoman for looking so hot after just having a baby in January. Let’s hope photos like this become a weekly thing especially as we come up to Summer.

It’s been a month since Mariah Carey posted a photo of her painted pregnant stomach on her Twitter account and now as you can see above she has done it again.
Mariah once again took to her Twitter account to post a photo of her huge belly with a painted Easter egg on it, she also wrote “HAPPY EASTER! Ummm.. READY!!!!!!!!!!!! Done and done. ”
Mariah is due to give birth to her twins, a boy and a girl (obviously that’s why one egg is red and pink), within the next few weeks. I can only imagine what type of stuff is going to go up on her account when they arrive.

30 Rock’s Jane Krakowski and fiancé Robert Godley welcomed their first child on April 13th it has been confirmed, it was a baby boy who they named Bennett Robert Godley.
Us Weekly confirms that Bennett was born last Wednesday in New York City and takes after his mother by having a head of blonde hair. Jane said “Bennett is an amazing, healthy sweet boy and we are both just crazy in love with him.” In an official statement the happy couple say:
“Jane Krakowski and Robert Godley are thrilled to announce the arrival of their baby boy, Bennett Robert Godley, born Wednesday, April 13, in New York. Bennett, the first child for both Jane and Robert, weighed 7 lbs 12 ounces and is sporting blonde hair just like his mom!”
On last nights one-hour 100th episode of 30 Rock Jane’s character, Jenna Maroney, took up the idea to have a baby all for the publicity she would get. This was the first time that her baby bump was shown on the show.
Tina Fey recently announced she was pregnant with her second child and Elizabeth Banks also welcomed a son back in March. There really is a baby boom on the set of 30 Rock.

Kate Hudson spoke to Extra yesterday when promoting her new film, Something Borrowed, and she has compared being pregnant to being high as a kite because her brain does be all over the place.
Kate, who is seven months pregnant with with her fiances Matthew Bellamy baby, says “being pregnant is wonderful, you do get the pregnant mush-brain… you know what it’s like? It’s like getting stoned.”
She also says that while her 7-year-old son, Ryder, is hoping for a baby brother she thinks she is going to have a girl because this pregnancy is different from her previous one. She also says she did some test, here is what she says
“So here’s the pendulum test. You take a piece of your hair, and you take a ring… and you string it through–this is very witchy of me! And then what you do, is you hold it over your stomach. And then [if it moves in a] circle, [it's] a girl, and a boy goes back and forth.”
Is it just me or does that sound like something someone stoned would say? This makes me jealous of pregnant women because not only do they get maternity leave they also get to be stoned without actually wasting their money on buying stuff. Any pregnant women out there that can vouch for this?

I’m all up for having babies whenever you are comfortable having them but I think Zsa Zsa Gabor is really taking the biscuit by trying to have one at 95-years-old, that’s if new reports are to believed.
TMZ is reporting that Zsa Zsa’s husband, Prince von Ahole, went to a fertility clinic in Los Angeles the other day with hopes to procreate. When the 67-year-old Prince got there he apparently shot out a sperm deposit and said it’s cause they both want a baby. Here’s what he said:
“It was always my wife’s dream for us to have a child … and even though we won’t be using any of her eggs, she would be thrilled to know I’m going through with this. I am so excited!! I hope Zsa Zsa is going to hang around for awhile. I want her to see and hold the baby’s hand. She will be a mother again at 95!! It was her wish to have a boy.”
Apparently they are planning on using his DNA and the egg and womb of a surrogate mother. My motto in life is each to their own but seriously this is ridiculous the fact this is even allowed to happen. What are your thoughts on it?

Victoria Beckham is planning on giving her daughter, who is due to be born sometime in the summer, a horrible life by naming the girl Santa although she says it isn’t after Santa Claus.
Victoria wants to name her Santa because of Santa Monica but as we all know kids are ruthless and will sure bully the kid especially around Christmas time, David Beckham isn’t too happy with the idea.
A source tells The Sun that “Posh thinks Santa Beckham has a lovely ring to it and wants something unique, David prefers something traditional, but will probably go along with what she chooses.”
The couples other children, Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz, are all apparently named after places that they were conceived so that is probably why she is picking Santa. But seriously I think it’s ridiculous – as I said around Christmas time the girl will probably be bullied like no other.

Yesterday it was announced that 30 Rock will be coming to an end next year and today it’s been confirmed that Tina Fey is pregnant with her second child.
Tina was doing a taping of The Oprah Winfrey Show yesterday when she announced that she is expecting her second child, then her rep confirmed to People that she is 5 months along. In her new memoir, which is out now, Tina wrote about having a second child:
“I thought that raising an only child would be the norm in Manhattan, but my daughter is the only child in her class without a sibling, most kids have at least two. Who will be my daughter’s family when my husband and I are dead from stress-induced cankers? She must have a sibling.”
Tina and her husband, Jeff Richmond, already have a 5-year-old daughter, Alice, and all of them are said to be delighted with the news of another addition to the family.

Mariah Carey is on the cover of this weeks Life & Style magazine and on the cover she is following the likes of Demi Moore and Britney Spears by posing topless while showing off her baby bump.
Mariah is supposedly due to give birth to her twins, a boy and a girl, in a few weeks time but she had a scare last month when she started experiencing contractions that sent her to the hospital. But she was given the all clear in the end though and sent home. Speaking to Life & Style about the photoshoot she says:
“I was feeling very vulnerable about taking pictures at all right now, but then I didn’t want to miss this opportunity to document this once-in-a-lifetime experience. My ultimate goal was to share this incredibly personal moment with my true fans.
The babies were kicking almost the entire time; it was unbelievable. Especially the girl — clearly she’s a diva in training! We didn’t start shooting until 1:30 a.m. because I was in the hospital from the night before until the day of the shoot with contractions five minutes apart!
Now I have so much respect for mothers everywhere, especially those who’ve had difficult pregnancies or given birth to multiples. We need to have Mother’s Day once a week!”
Hell no should there be a Mother’s Day once a week, having one a year is bad enough because it nearly bankrupts me getting my mother all of her stuff.

Kate Hudson has landed herself in a bit of hot water with some people after a photograph of her sipping on what looks to be a glass of red wine made it’s way on to Popeater today. The reason she is getting stick is because she is 6-months pregnant.
Kate, who is currently in Argentina with her boyfriend Matt Bellamy as he tours the country with Muse, was spotted at a restaurant with Matt along with her 7-year-old son, Ryder, and Bono where a photographer took a photo of her sipping on a glass of wine while having her dinner.
Anytime a pregnant woman is spotted drinking alcohol there always seems to be different people giving different opinions on what is acceptable and what isn’t. Popeater got someone in who said:
“Right now, no one really knows what amount of alcohol is harmful for the fetus, so it’s recommended that you don’t drink at all during pregnancy.”
Meanwhile the Daily Mail also claim that pregnant women should avoid alcohol altogether however if they do want to have a drink they should drink no more than two units a week – a small glass of wine contains two unites.
I don’t really know what to think, I know plenty of women who have had a few drinks while pregnant and there has been nothing wrong with the babies.
