Kristen Bell is engaged to Dax Shepard and Shepard, 35, proposed to her over the holidays.
Bell was not among the nominees at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards, but she may be one of the proudest stars who came to the event that night. Hitting the red carpet of the show on Sunday, January 31, the actress has shown off a new sparkle on her engagement finger.
Her representative later confirmed to Us Magazine that the 29-year-old beauty has been engaged to Dax Shepard. A source then added that the actor proposed to her over the holidays. Unfortunately, Shepard was not seen accompanying Bell at the event while the engagement ring was not captured by the photographers’ cameras.
Kristen Bell first dated Dax Shepard in December 2007 after ending her five-year relationship with former fiance Kevin Mann. The “When in Rome” co-stars later made their public appearance as a couple in January 2008.
Soundgarden singer Chris Cornell is suing mad over his wedding footage featuring newly deceased actress Brittany Murphy.
Some nefarious thief got ahold of the video and offered in on Craigslist. Murphy was maid of honor at the ceremony, and the video was offered as “lost footage” of the star.
Cornell says that the video was stolen and has threatened to sue Craigslist, who has since removed it from their listings.
A source said, “The video features behind-the-scenes wedding moments, many of Brittany Murphy.”
He has also asked the website to fork over the information on the seller, claiming that it’s a federal crime infringing on his copyright.

Ivanka Trump has wed the son of another major New York area real estate family.
The daughter of Donald and Ivana Trump married Jared Kushner at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J., on Sunday. The Orthodox Rabbi Haskel Lookstein performed the ceremony.
Trump, 27, is the co-host of “Celebrity Apprentice,” a vice president at her father’s real estate company, and has a jewelry company.
The 28-year-old Kushner is publisher of The New York Observer and an executive at the Kushner Companies, which owns and manages commercial real estate and apartments.
Kushner’s father was a prominent Democratic political donor who pleaded guilty to campaign and tax law violations.
Wedding guests included ex-New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, Barbara Walters and actress Emmy Rossum.
The bride was looking forward to “dancing like a maniac with all of my friends,” according to a recent post to her Twitter account.
Trump, 27, who got engaged on July 15, told Brides.com,
“I always envisioned myself having a traditional and elegant wedding.”

Maybe the third time’s a charm for Madonna? Rumor has it that she wants to walk down the aisle a third time with her boy toy Jesus Luz.
She has laid some hints down that she wants to make it official with Jesus, who is 29 years younger than her. The couple have only been dating for less than a year, but she was quoted saying, “It can go either way. But why not? I could definitely see myself marrying him. Yes, it’s definitely on the table.”
To make it even more cutesy, she added, “He’s so sweet. He checks in with me all the time. I probably should do the same, but you know me. I think he gets it now that I’m a little, shall we say, self-involved.”
If she does make the leap, she wants it to be a huge affair. A relative said, “She knows that’s what Jesus wants. She has a lot of wonderful memories of both her weddings. She doesn’t want to slip off and do it quietly. She definitely wants a big and rather fantastic affair.”
She wants the world to know that she’s not having some mid-life crisis, as well. She said that Michael Jackson’s death made her want to live life to it’s extent.
A pal of Madge’s said, “When Madonna and Jesus were just dating – back when she thought it was just a fling, she was okay with it. But when she realized she was starting to have feelings for him, she started to become self-conscious about the relationship. She said, ‘I don’t want my family to think I’m having a mid-life crisis. And my friends, too. I don’t want people to think I have lost my mind.’”

Mark Wahlberg has finally made it official! The actor and his longtime girlfriend, model Rhea Durham, tied the knot on Saturday.
The couple, who have three children – Ella Rae, 5, Michael, 3, and 10-month-old Brendan Joseph – were married Saturday in an intimate and romantic ceremony attended by their children and about 12 close friends and family at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Beverly Hills.

Newlyweds Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady got in some sweet treats and family time over the weekend.
The couple flew to Brazil, where Bündchen is from, so Brady could meet some of his new wife’s family members he hasn’t met before, according to a source.
Plus, the couple helped Bündchen’s grandfather celebrate his 83rd birthday in the southern Brazilian city of Horizontina, the local newspaper Zero Hora reports.
Brady, 31, and Bündchen, 28, who got married last month in a small ceremony in Santa Monica, Calif., also enjoyed some ice cream and toured the city.
Brady, the quarterback for the New England Patriots, was spotted exercising at a local gym.
Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are reportedly going to tie the knot, after finding out that she’s pregnant with the couple’s second child.
Tabloids reported that the couple were getting hitched last year, after having their first child, Harlow Winter, which left the couple denying the reports.
“In Touch Weekly” is now claiming that the rumors are true this time around and that the couple are actually planning a wedding for this year.
A friend close to the couple says, “They are old-fashioned in some ways. Now their second baby is coming, they both want to make it legal.”

Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady married Thursday just before 6 p.m. at the St. Monica Catholic Church in Santa Monica, Calif.
The bride, 28, donned a form-fitting ivory lace strapless gown with a trumpet skirt, scalloped edges, long train and a floor-length veil with attached handmade satin roses and attached satin headband, all by Dolce & Gabbana. Her three dogs also wore matching Dolce & Gabbana floral lace collars.
The ceremony — which began at dusk — was “very small and intimate,” a source states, adding that guests mostly consisted of immediate family. Brady’s 1 ½ son with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan, John Edward Thomas Moynahan, was also present.
(Fitting, as Bundchen once described her ideal wedding as “a simple ceremony…I don’t like parties, I prefer something more intimate, just for the closest people.”)
After the wedding, they had a small gathering at their home in L.A.’s Brentwood neighborhood. Brady’s wedding band was visible upon leaving the church, while Bundchen carried her new stepson to the car.
Woody Harrelson and longtime partner Laura Louiemade it official this weekend in a private ceremony on the island of Maui!
Friends and family attended the wedding near Harrelson’s home in Kipahulu. Guests included Owen Wilson, Willie Nelson and Sean Penn. Alanis Morissette sang at the ceremony.

Oh shocker, more news that The Hills is most likely complete fakery. A clip for next weeks finale of The Hills shows Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt making their “marriage” official in a Beverly Hills courthouse.
After the couple enter a the courtroom with Pratt’s sister Stephanie, Montag says “I, Heidi, take thee Spencer,” as they recite vows with each other.
But there could be a slight problem with all of this, Los Angeles Superior Court official Allan Parachini says that marriage ceremonies don’t take place in a courtroom and he didn’t know who the judge in the clip was.
Parachini, who says that an MTV crew were in the courthouse a few weeks, adds that ceremonies usually take place in chambers he also says “we did notice that there is no court reporter or court clerk in the picture, so this was not shot during formal court proceedings.”
As for the “wedding” itself, he says that the “ceremony in question resulted in the ‘bride’ becoming upset and running from the courtroom,” but he wasn’t 100% sure if it was Speidi.

Parachini is quick to note, however, that judges are free to perform a ceremony where ever and whenever they wish. These events, he says, are often conducted after hours and aren’t noted on the official court calendar. “There’s absolutely no way we could say definitively that this did or did not happen,” he says.
Pratt himself spoke about the newest controversy for the show saying that there is no legal documents anyone to see because they “checked the confidentiality box, so good luck people.”

PEOPLE exclusively reports that the small ceremony took place at Caesars Palace’s Forum Tower Penthouse in Las Vegas. A source says the megastar duo “decided around 12:30 in the morning that they wanted to do it and started calling for ministers.”
PEOPLE also reports that New York Mets slugger Carlos Beltran and his wife Jessica also renewed their vows in the ceremony. A source says a good night of dice playing may have led to the spontaneous nuptials. “They were both winning at the craps table and Marc kept saying that it was going to be a lucky night,” claims the source.
Reports say Lopez wore a black dress, and only 12 people were around to witness the double renewal. “Her parents didn’t even see it because they were with the babies,” a source said about Lopez.
Eddie Van Halen is engaged to his girlfriend/publicist Janie Liszewski.
Van Halen, 53, proposed to Liszewski, 38, on Aug. 4 while they were vacationing in Hawaii. The rock guitarist dropped to one knee and popped the question in a private room at Tiffany’s. The couple plan to wed next June.
“They are happy, healthy, very much in love and looking forward to living life together forever,” says the source. “They are devoted to each other and to experiencing life in a whole new, positive and passionate way.”
It will be the second marriage for Van Halen. He was married to actress Valerie Bertinelli, with whom he has a 17-year-old son, Wolfgang. It will be the first marriage for Liszewski.
Van Halen returned to touring in April after missing a number of concert dates while undergoing tests for a mystery illness.
In 2002, Van Halen announced that he had recovered from tongue cancer.
Leonardo DiCaprio has been known for espousing anti-romantic sentiment in the past — but now, the “Body of Lies” star is singing a new tune about love.
“I want to get married and have children,” the 33-year-old actor tells Parade magazine. “In saying that, I realize I am contradicting everything I’ve said before. I absolutely believe in marriage.”
DiCaprio had previously been quoted as saying he had “few emotions” and had “never been in love.” He’s now been attached to supermodel Bar Rafaeli for the past two years, and chalks up his old feelings about relationships to young ignorance. “No, I don’t agree with any of that,” Leo says of his old feelings. “It sounds like the ignorance of youth to me. When did I say that? Three or four years ago? Hey, we grow up real fast.”
