It took 16-1/2 months for Outside the Beltway, my current events blog, to hit that milestone. As has been increasingly clear from both my site referral logs and from the BlogAds order page, people are a lot more interested in what’s going on in the celebrity world than they are in the ins-and-outs of American foreign policy. This is especially true if there are photos of hot women involved. Okay, it shouldn’t require any great empirical study to come to that conclusion. I have no intention of giving up the focus on politics and foreign affairs on Outside the Beltway. Nor do I want to blog a lot about celebrity hotties on the site, although I’ve done some of that in the past. Yet, the quest for increased traffic and mad blog bucks continues.
