Kate Walsh Is Looking For Love

Kate Walsh was the last person to think that she’d be divorced after only 15 months of marriage to ex-husband, Alex Young.

She says, “I don’t think anyone gets married thinking that they will get divorced. We certainly did not. Alex and I still care for each other, and I wish him nothing but the best. The silver lining to this, however, is that I have a wonderful family and a great group of friends who really showed their support and encouragement, and for that I am truly grateful.”

She has revealed that she wants to move forward now and keep on with her search to find love. She says, “I have always been the girl who keeps on trying. I try! I try!”

Kate Walsh’s Husband Files For Divorce

“Private Practice” star Kate Walsh‘s husband Alex Young has filed for divorce from the actress.

Reps for the couple said,

“Papers have been filed to amicably end the marriage of executive Alex Young and actress Kate Walsh. The couple remain on friendly terms and sincerely hope the media will respect their privacy during this difficult time.”

In divorce papers, Young cites irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. The date of separation is listed as November 22, 2008, just before the Thanksgiving holiday.

Kate and Alex have been married since September of 2007. The couple got engaged in May 2007 after a whirlwind courtship.
