Metallica was once a band that I could get excited about, but then their last few albums became a pile of steaming excrement, with Death Magnetic sitting at the top like the King of Shit Mountain.
Apparently not everyone shares my feelings towards Metallica, as witnessed Wednesday night outside of their concert in Bogotá, Colombia. Despite having military and police outside in anticipation of the ragefest that was sure to come, Columbians who were unable to get a ticket to the sold out show decided to force their way in, proving that making bad decisions is directly related to enjoying bad music.
Approximately 160 arrests were made, and about eight people were injured, as the authorities blasted the fans with water cannons and tear gas. (Video)
Officer Ruben Castillo stated:
“Those people that did not get in wanted to get in by force. The presence of police and riot teams was necessary because these misfits – there’s no other name for them – damaged some windows in the surrounding area.”
Misfits? No sir, The Misfits were a good band.
I’m guessing that all of the really excellent cocaine that is produced in Columbia had something to do with this, or maybe I just like to think that. If I lived in Bogotá, I would no longer have a nose.

I completely forgot that Girlicious even existed, I remember watching the reality show when they were tyring to make a newer version of the Pussycat Dolls. But here is Natalie Mejiam, a singer in the band, popping up out of nowhere and getting busted for coke possession.
Natalie, 21-years-old, was driving through Glendale, CA, with a guy named Peter Asencio were driving in a 1998 Ford Mustang when they were pulled over by police for speeding.
Natalie was a passenger in the car and they were on the way to an airport so she could catch a flight up to Canada, where Girlicious were playing a concert, but the police officer stopped them and soon discovered that she was carrying more than a dozen individual packages in her purse.
The police officer searched the car because Asencio was driving on a suspended license which is when they found the bags of coke. A spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department denied that she knows how the drugs got into her purse, I guess it just fell in her purse our of nowhere?
They were both arrested on suspicion of possessing cocaine for sale, he was also arrested for driving on a suspended driver’s license. Natalie is now being held on a $30,000 bond.
Why the hell would these two idiots be going to an airport with bags of coke in her bag, did she honestly think she was going to be able to carry the drugs through security? Natalie Mejia does have a pretty good mugshot though.
Jacqueline Bains Beems, the wife of wrestling legend Ric Flair, has been arrested in North Carolina on domestic violence charges according to police..
Jacqueline, who is the wrestlers fourth wife, got arrested and charged with misdemeanor assault on Sunday according to the police involved.
It is unknown what she did to him, but said she didn’t use any weapons during the attack, but the the police report said that the 61-year-old wrestler did suffer some minor injuries.
A rep for him released a statement saying, “Ric and his wife had an unfortunate disagreement [Sunday], which led to his wife being arrested and charged with assault, Ric has done nothing wrong. The important thing to remember here is that we have some very exciting professional announcements in the near future. Ric finds this incident unsettling and is committed to correcting any issues in his personal life.”
For me it doesn’t matter if domestic abuse/violence is committed by a man or a woman, it is all wrong so I’m not going to make a joke about his famous catchphrase being “woooo!” I just hope that Ric Flair‘s rep isn’t hinting that he will go back to wrestling, he is too old for that.

First his wife entered rehab, and now Charlie Sheen is in treatment, too.
Sheen’s representative issued the following statement:
“As a preventative measure, Charlie Sheen has entered a rehabilitation facility. He will take some time off his series Two and a Half Men.”
Sheen, 44, is also facing domestic violence charges stemming from a Christmas Day fight with wife Brooke Mueller, who herself went into rehab earlier this month, then switched centers amid complaints that her privacy was breached.
The statement did not elaborate on the reason for Sheen’s treatment. The actor has reportedly gone to rehab programs at least twice before for drug and alcohol abuse, but a source says that this time the problem relates to the emotional fallout from the domestic violence case and his desire to avoid temptation. A relapse would be a violation of his bail terms and could send him back to jail.
“Charlie is stressed. He’s tired. The kids are on his mind. Brooke’s on his mind,” the source said. “A lot of things are on his mind. He didn’t want to get a place where he had the urge to get high. He’s not using and he doesn’t want to. He felt like he needed to get away from negative influences around him and clear his head, rest and take a short break.”
The source adds that Sheen’s twin boys would be staying with his parents, actor Martin Sheen and wife Janet, and with Mueller at her rehab facility. Mueller’s mother also planned to travel to California from Florida to help.
Production of Sheen’s show “will be temporarily suspended,” says a statement from CBS and the show’s producer, Warner Bros. Television. “We wish him nothing but the best as he deals with this personal matter.”
And… Three and a Half Men will still thrive in the ratings. I don’t know how this guy manages to maintain popularity, he’s a schmuck!

Nick Snider, a male model, has been arrested by cops in Batesville, Arkansas, after he allegedly offered oral sex favors if they would let him go.
Snider, 21, was originally arrested for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct early Monday morning after causing a disturbance at a friends house.
When the police came to arrest him he responded with a very douchey “I am a very famous model,” it being Arkansas and them not being noted for their fashion or models meant the police didn’t give a shit and took him to county jail in a patrol car.
All through the car journey and during his booking session he kept saying “If you stop I’ll suck your dick and balls if you let me go.”
Instead of whipping it out and letting him go to town they added another charge against him, illegally attempting to influence a public servant. He was released on bail and is scheduled for a court appearance on February 17. The only problem with that is he is set to walk throughout New York Fashion week, which kicks on February 11.

Randy Quaid and his wife Evi were arrested in Marfa, Texas yesterday. Law enforcement sources said they were picked up by Presidio County Sheriff’s deputies.
There was a struggle and deputies had to wrestle Evi to the ground as she screamed loudly.
Felony arrest warrants had been issued for the Quaids in Santa Barbara, CA for burglary, defrauding an innkeeper and conspiracy. They’re accused of stiffing the San Ysidro Ranch near Santa Barbara out of thousands of bucks.
Presidio County Sheriff’s deputies said that Randy assaulted them both physically and verbally and resisted arrest, but they will not file charges.The Sheriff’s Office is in touch with officials in Santa Barbara County, who want Randy and Evi extradited.

The culprit caught on security videos in both Lindsay Lohan and Audrina Patridge‘s home burglaries has been arrested, Los Angeles police announced.
Nicholas Prugo, 18, was arrested Thursday morning in connection with the two break-ins. He was charged with felony burglary and is being held on $20,000 bail.
Lohan’s mother Dina said, “Yes, we have found [him], God is good.”
Lohan’s Hollywood Hills home was burglarized last month by a young man and woman in which a safe was ripped out of the wall, and bags, shoes and jewelry were stolen.
In February, the apparent same pair broke into Patridge’s Los Angeles home and was caught on tape making off with several bags of her possessions.
So far, police have only confirmed the arrest of Prugo. “As of now we just have this one person in custody, and the investigation is ongoing,” says LAPD spokeswoman Karen Rayner.
The break-ins were among a rash of recent starlet burglaries in the past year, all within several miles of each other. Paris Hilton, Hayden Panettiere and Rachel Bilson have also been victimized, but Prugo was not arrested in those cases.
There’s now a second suspect, Law enforcement sources say they believe the woman in the surveillance video is Rachel Lee, who they think helped Nicholas Prugo burglarize Lohan and Patridge’s L.A. homes.
A look at Prugo’s Facebook page, you’ll see a photo of Rachel Lee (see inset above) — she’s a dead ringer for the person caught on Lindsay and Audrina’s surveillance cams.

Michael Douglas’ son — actor Cameron Douglas — has been arrested in New York City for possession of methamphetamines with the intent to distribute.
It’s not the first time Cameron has been busted for drugs. Back in 2007 he was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance after cops found a syringe with liquid cocaine in a car he was in.

Debbie Rowe called the police to her horse ranch in Palmdale, CA yesterday, when two photographers were subsequently cuffed.
One of the photographers was busted for not having a driver’s license and the other for riding on top of the first guy’s car while it was still moving.
And… TMZ was their to capture the whole thing on tape. Do you suppose the two arrested belonged to them?
In case you aren’t annoyed with Debbie Rowe enough, she’s currently battling Katherine Jackson for custody of Michael Jackson’s children. Apparently, $4million wasn’t enough.
The father of American Idol runner-up David Archuleta was charged for allegedly soliciting a prostitute.
On January 14, Midvale, Utah police raided a Reiki Massage parlor at 7350 South State Street on the basis that the parlor did not have a business license. Once inside, they identified that prostitution was taking place and there was one client receiving the services.
Inside they found a female masseuse and a male client. At that point, Midvale Police say an interview took place and the male client admitted to receiving sexual gratification from the female masseuse.
According to court documents, that one client was 47-year-old James Jeffrey Archuleta, the father of American Idol contestant David Archuleta.
He was cited with a Class B misdemeanor, soliciting prostitution and was fined $582. Court documents say Archuleta waived his right to counsel and entered a six month plea in abeyance.
James Archuleta’s attorney Eric Bauer said Archuleta never had sex or sexual contact with his masseuse. He also said it was the first time Archuleta had ever been to the establishment. He was there for a back problem.
He pled no contest to the incident and is trying and put it behind him. Archuleta’a attorney said he was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
A back problem? I wonder if he was getting his back treated with David’s money?

Though Howard would later apologize for his remarks, the star’s own rap sheet offers an explanation as to why he would jump to the side of an accused domestic abuser. Police and court records reveal that Howard, 39, was once arrested for a similar crime.
According to a Whitemarsh Police Department report, after Howard and Lori McCommas argued on the phone, the actor warned, “Don’t disrespect me by hanging up on me or I’ll come over and hurt you.” McCommas then “hung up and contacted 911 fearing Howard was serious.”
While McCommas was speaking with a police dispatcher, Howard “showed up at the victim’s residence and began breaking the door down.” McCommas ran to the rear of the house and into the backyard. Howard then “broke the front door down and ran through the screen door in the kitchen. Howard then grabbed the victim’s left arm and punched her twice with a closed fist in the left side of the face.”
The attack was broken up by Howard’s brother, who responded to McCommas’s house after he “saw Howard storm out of their house to go to the victim’s house.” When a Whitemarsh cop responded to the scene, Howard admitted, “I broke the door down and hit my wife.” A second officer noted there was “fresh damage to the front door and marks on the victim’s face and arm from being struck.”

Shauna Sand claims she was choked, punched and thrown across a room in front of her children — and the bastard behind the alleged beatings is her very own husband.
The former Playmate received a temporary restraining order against Romain Chavent yesterday, after she filed documents in L.A. County Superior Court alleging that this weekend, her French hubby “hit me in the breasts, which i just had reconstructive surgery.” It’s the latest in a string of alleged violent abuse.
Among the claims, Shauna says Romain once “threatened to sell nude photos of my children that he took of them when he was babysitting.”
In the documents, Shauna also claims in March 2008, Chavent punched her in the stomach and threw her into a wall. And in 2007, Romain allegedly strangled, punched and threw Sand across the room. Shauna says she was granted a restraining order for the 2007 incident, but had it dismissed “because he promised to change.”
But Romain has made accusations of his own — once filing for a restraining order against Shauna in April because he claimed she threatened to ruin his life. Romain’s claim was later dismissed.
Now, with the most recent accusations of abuse, Shauna Sand has been granted another TRO that will remain in effect until the next hearing on December 22.

The jury for her court case involving driving without a valid California license, were deadlocked after a second day of deliberation.
Hayden Panettiere‘s father, Alan, has been temporarily ordered not to “harass, strike or threaten” his wife, Lesley Vogel, a Beverly Hills judge ruled Tuesday.
Judge H. Chester Horn issued the protective order until Panettiere’s new arraignment date of Dec. 11. If convicted, Panettiere faces up to a year in county jail.
You might remember that he was arrested at the family’s West Hollywood home after he struck Vogel, 52, “one or two times on the cheek causing bruising with a closed fist,” a sheriff’s spokesman said.
The couple had argued after returning from a charity event hosted by their daughter. Another sheriff’s official confirmed that alcohol was involved.
Shortly after he was released on bail, Alan Panettiere told Extra the incident was a “misunderstanding” and that “nothing actually happened.”
And daughter Hayden, 19, downplayed the incident, saying, “It was blown way out of proportion by a sheriff who wanted his 15 minutes of fame.”
Kanye West has just been arrested at LAX for felony vandalism.
A still photographer was trying to take pics of Kanye at the American Airlines terminal. According to our guy on the scene, Kanye allegedly confronted the photog and smashed his camera to the ground.
Our photog then began videotaping the scene when Kanye’s assistant grabbed our camera — a struggle ensued and the assistant threw the video camera to the ground, breaking it.
When Kanye realized our camera guy had videotaped the incident, he rushed our guy and yelled, “Gimme that f**king tape!”
Both Kanye and his assistant have been arrested and will be booked.
