Well this is random and scary, it’s been revealed two men in their thirties were arrested outside Joss Stone‘s Devon home in the UK under suspicion of planning to rob and kill the singer.
The Sun reports that the two men, one aged 33 and the other 30, were spotted driving around the area in a red Fiat Punto so neighbors called the police who then arrived and searched the car. In it they found swords, a rope and a body bag. They definitely weren’t messing around.
The men, who traveled over 200 miles from Manchester, were arrested on suspicion of planning a terrifying raid on the singers home and then taken to a local police station were 20 detectives were put on the case. Police reports say that the two man had detailed maps and aerial photos of her property in order to help them go through with their plans to rob Joss, who is apparently worth over $14 million.
Joss released a statement to People which read “I’d like to thank everyone for their concern but I’m absolutely fine and getting on with life as normal while the police continue with their inquiries.”
I’m sure more details will emerge as the investigation goes on but a rep for the singer also says that they are keeping her updated with any developments. Scary shit.
1968 Playboy Playmate of the Year Angela Dorian has been charged with attempted murder after she allegedly shot her boyfriend from close range in their Hollywood apartment Saturday night.
66-year-old Dorian, aka Victoria Rathgeb, aka Victoria Vetri — (currently 5’5″, 110 lbs) was arrested late Saturday night, and is still behind bars. Bail has been set at $1,000,000.
Law enforcement sources said they believe Dorian and her boyfriend were having an argument that turned physical — and that’s when Dorian grabbed a handgun and fired at least one shot into her boyfriend’s upper body. The boyfriend was rushed to a nearby hospital — we’re told he’s expected to survive.
When authorities first arrived to the scene, Dorian told cops that her boyfriend was shot by a drug dealer.
If convicted, Dorian could face up to life in prison.
Florida resident Cynthia Ware has been charged with attempted murder, after she went psycho on her boyfriend for changing the channel from American Idol to something else!
Ware is accused of pouring hot chocolate on boyfriend Kevin Johnson, 47, after Johnson went to bed following the dispute, said St. Petersburg police spokeswoman Jennifer Dawkins. She then stabbed him in the back with a steak knife and then, after he ran downstairs from the hotel room where they were living, she attacked him again, Dawkins said.
It was in the parking lot of the hotel – the Empress Hotel, 1501 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. St. N. – where a crowd formed, and police were soon dispatched, Dawkins said.
It was unknown what exactly the dispute over the television show was, Dawkins said. During the dispute, he changed the channel, she kept arguing and he didn’t feel like arguing anymore, so he went to bed, Dawkins said. Johnson was sleeping when Ware attacked him, the spokeswoman said.
Johnson suffered second-degree burns, in addition to the stab wounds, and was taken to Bayfront Medical Center. He is expected to survive his injuries.

I remember many times working in television, where shows would get preempted by let’s say, The President. The phones would ring off the hook, with viewers demanding things like, “Turn this off and turn the Price is Right back on.”
