Who is Marisa Miller?
Marisa Miller (born August 6, 1978) is an American supermodel. She is known for her many appearances in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issues and Victoria’s Secret catalogs.
Born Marisa Bertetta in Santa Cruz, California, she was first “discovered” at age 16 walking through a San Francisco café by two Italian modeling agents. After talking to her mom Krista Bertetta, she was on a plane to Italy with her mom a few months later. Marisa says that the most valuable thing that her mom has ever told her was “You can always go back to school but you may not always be able to model.” Marisa took her mom’s advice and soon gained attention when she appeared in a 1997 issue of Perfect 10 magazine.
In 2007, Marisa shot her first television commercial for Victoria’s Secret with fellow supermodel Heidi Klum, causing quite a stir unexpectedly drawing more attention than Klum, as well as appearing in a cameo on the HBO show Entourage. Marisa was also featured as a model on the pilot episode of the new VH1 reality show The Shot.
On November 26, 2007, Marisa made a special guest appearance on How I Met Your Mother (episode: “The Yips”) with her fellow Victoria’s Secret supermodels (Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima, Selita Ebanks, Miranda Kerr, and Heidi Klum).

Bar Refaeli, the Israeli supermodel and Leonardo DiCarprio’s girlfriend is rumored to be the 2008 cover model for the 2008 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue.
Here is a sneak peek into the 2008 swimsuit issue:
How the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue came about?
In the winter of 1964, Sports Illustrated magazine was in its usual sales slump. So the editorial staff at S.I. decided to try something new.
Babette Marche, a model in a racy (for the time) bikini was splashed across the cover for their new February issue and - surprise! - the edition was almost an instant sellout.
Soon, hot-blooded sports fans by the millions were waiting at mailboxes for delivery of the Sports llustrated Swimsuit Issue in an annual winter tradition.
Almost single-handedly, Sports Illustrated had launched the Era of the Supermodel - giving rise to the careers of Tyra Banks, Christie Brinkley, Rachel Hunter, Elle Macpherson and Kathy Ireland (to name only a few) who have since graced the cover.
The 2006 landmark “topless” cover featured models Veronica Varekova, Elle Macpherson, Rebecca Romijn, Rachel Hunter, Daniela Pestova, Elsa Benitez, Carolyn Murphy and Yamila Diaz.
Inside, Heidi Klum was the featured photo spread and, (just to keep it fairly legit as a sports issue), tennis pro Maria Sharapova also appeared in the lower right hand corner over the sub-headline, “…As You’ve Never Seen Her.

Nothing wrong with a little public display of affection, although it appears that she’s only snagging a whiff or two.
While I’m sitting here wondering what’s between Leonardo’s legs…Freddy is sitting there drooling over Bar’s rear end. She should lose the cigarette however.

I thought Bar Rafaeli was still dating Leonardo Dicaprio, no? Apparently not, because she was in Jerusalem yesterday with pro surfer Kelly Slater. And it appears no boyfriend of Bar’s can go to Jerusalem without getting in trouble.
Kelly Slater was arrested yesterday after he pushed a photographer that was trying to take pictures of him with Bar Rafaeli. He was released after being questioned.
So the interesting part of this story is not the arrest of Kelly Slater. It’s that he may or may not be dating Bar Rafaeli. See, Bar used to date Leonardo DiCaprio, and Leonardo used to date Gisele Bunchen, who used to date Kelly Slater. See how that all works out? It’s a crazy celeb-dating world out there.
Leonardo DiCaprio’s response to a question about his relationship with Israeli model Bar Refaeli so surprised a French magazine that, rather than risk translating it to French they chose to publish it verbatim in English in order to faithfully convey its nonchalance.
“She is a nice girl,” was all he could get himself to say!
Leo was in Paris for the release of ‘The Departed’ when the incident, reported by Page Six, occurred.
DiCaprio has been dating the Gisele Bündchen lookalike since winter of 2005.
