I love when people fall over, as long as they are okay of course, but what’s better than the average person tripping up? A celebrity falling on stage for all of us to laugh at. AOL have come up with a list of 10 celebrities who have fallen over and here they are for you to laugh at.
10. Christina Aguilera
Christina Aguilera’s stiletto stumble after an Aretha Franklin tribute at the Grammys was tabloid gold following her National Anthem flub at the Super Bowl, just one week before.
09. Mariah Carey
Mariah Carey was in the middle of crowd hyping when her overhead clap caused her to collapse to the floor. Like a true diva, MiMi’s entourage swept her up and got her back on her fabulous feet in no time.
08. Musiq Soulchild
R&B singer Musiq Soulchild danced himself right off the edge of the stage during a show at Madison Square Garden. Peep Musiq’s plummet at :10!
07. P!nk
P!nk may have taken up trapeze tricks as her new hobby, but the singer-turned-acrobat was taken down by the wired hula hoops at :46. She later tweeted from a German ambulance, “I am embarrassed and very sorry. I’m in ambulance now but I will b fine.”
06. Rihanna
Rihanna was brought to her knees during a performance of ‘What’s My Name’ at a show in Canada. “Oh na na” no! Later that same week, RiRi suffered a second stage fall during her concert in Toronto.
05. Robbie Williams
Robbie Williams wiped out on stage and proceeded to give a full on explanation for the fall to the audience from the floor, rather than continue with the song. “That’s a bit embarrassing. That will teach me for being cocky,” he admits before labeling himself a “t—.”
04. Shania Twain
Country music queen Shania Twain fell from grace while making an entrance at the Country Music Television awards show. “I don’t need a stunt double,” she joked just moments after.
03. Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga is known for her crazy stage stunts and live show shock tactics, but sometimes the best stage moments are the unplanned mishaps. Gaga’s tumble from atop her piano bench is one such blooper.
02. Joe Jonas
During what should have been a smooth stage entrance, Jonas Brother Joe hit a speed bump, tripping over the frame of a window and landing hands-first into a floor full of broken glass. Ouch!
01. Beyonce
Beyonce lands on our list, yet again, for failing to plant her heels on the steps of a seemingly mile-high staircase on the live stage. One misstep and Queen B fell from her throne and went tumbling down … and down … and down!
So the 2011 and MTV Video Music Awards took place last night and as expected they were pretty crap but as always there is one headline on everyone’s mind following the VMAs and this year it’s that Beyonce is pregnant.
Beyonce showed up on the red carpet wearing an orange gown and decided to shock everybody by also showing off her baby bump. What a way to steal the show.
There’s been rumors for months that the 29-year-old singer and husband Jay-Z were expecting their first child together and now it’s official that these rumors are true. “I’m happy to say it’s true,” a rep confirms to People.
“I want you to stand up on your feet. I want you to feel the love that’s growing inside me,” Beyonce told the crowd ;ater on during the show Beyonce performed her song ‘Love On Top.’
When she finished performing she then opened up her jacked and rubbed her stomach which got Jay-Z and Kanye West excited because the camera panned to them jumping up and down. As you can see in the video below.
A source close to the couple says “they told friends in the last month, she’s never been happier. Seriously it’s all she’s been waiting for. And Jay is like an excited kid. They’re adorable.”
Beyonce has released the music video for her song ’1+1′ which is taken of her album ’4′ and while she looks hot I can’t help but think this video looks like a perfume commercial.
Beyonce, who directed this video alongside alongside Lauren Briet and Ed Burke, is set to perform at this Sunday’s 2011 MTV Video Music Awards.
This song isn’t an official single from the album, like Beyonce has done over the past few years she is making music videos for most of the songs off her album so expect more and more Beyonce videos over the next couple of weeks.
The next official single for Beyonce will be ‘Party’, which features Outkast’s Andre 3000 and Kanye West. She recently finished the video for that song.
What do you think of the video? I’m guessing most of the budget went on buying baby oil.
Beyonce released the music video for her song, ‘Run The World (Girls)’, and I’m honestly not sure what my feelings towards it are. I love the song and visually the video looks great but it’s not exactly what I expected it to be. Here is what Beyonce recently had to say about the song:
“The song is definitely riskier than something a bit more simple, I just heard the track and loved that it was so different. It felt a bit African, a bit electronic and futuristic. It reminded me of what I love, which is mixing different cultures and eras – things that typically don’t go together – to create a new sound.”
Beyonce worked with eight different choreographers for the video, which was directed by Francis Lawrence, what do you think about the video?
Last week photos from the set of Beyonce‘s new video for her new song, ‘Girls (Who Run the World)’, leaked online despite her doing her best to keep the whole thing under wraps.
Now as with everything in the music industry the song has finally leaked online although it’s unclear if this is the final version or if it’s just a demo, to me it sounds like a demo. Take a listen for yourself:
If you think you recognize music from the song then you’re right, it samples Major Lazer‘s tune ‘Pon De Floor’. As for the photos leaking online, Francis Lawrence who directed the video says she was not one bit happy. He says, “She would probably have me shot if I said anything, some stuff spilled out, but she wasn’t happy about it, so I’ve been sworn to secrecy. It is a fantastic song, so I really hope that song catches for her, and I think the video’s gonna be really fun and cool and different for her.”
What do you think about the song? I really hope it is just a demo because I’m not feeling it at all.
After over 10 years of working together Beyonce and her father, Matthew Knowles, have decided to part ways as he will no longer be her manager it has been confirmed. There is no word on what led to them ending their business partnership but she did release a statement saying:
“I am grateful for everything he has taught me, I grew up watching both he and my mother manage and own their own businesses. They were hardworking entrepreneurs and I will continue to follow in their footsteps. He is my father for life and I love my dad dearly, I am grateful for everything he has taught me.”
Matthew has managed Beyonce since the late 1990s when she and Destiny’s Child exploded onto the music scene, then he took control of her solo career and helped turn her into the superstar she is today. He is also the one who helped banish the rest of the Destiny’s Child girls into oblivion.
In a separate statement he says “Business is business and family is family, I love my daughter and am very proud of who she is and all that she has achieved. I look forward to her continued great success.”
There is no word on who will act as her manager from now on but if I remember correctly there was a story going around sometime last year that hinted about her husband, Jay-Z, taking on the job should something like this happen.
You know the way people say everybody has somebody that is completely identical to them out there? Well ONTD have come up with a list of 12 celebrities who apparently look like each other. Take a look for yourself and see if you see the resemblance.
Taylor Swift and Björk
Not only do these to stars have an uncanny resemblance but they are both grammy winning singers. The best of the best. If you don’t think they look alike then idk maybe squint a little bit and then you see their undeniable similarities.
Marilyn Monroe and Lindsay Lohan
Both these actresses embrace the essence of beauty and danger, timeless looks and the type of tragedy you find with fame. Both women who Hollywood should have more respect for and not take for granted IMO.
Lady Gaga and Lykke Li
I am pretty sure they are same person or twins. Both take a lot of black and white photos and both were born in 1986 and both celebrate their bdays this month. Think about it!!
Katie Holmes and Britney Spears
Both were such famous teen icons in the late 90s and both are still famous but have grown up and have kids. Who knows if Britney ever has a girl she may look exactly like Suri Cruise!!
Katy Perry and Adele
Both these number 1 selling females have very pretty faces and very pale skin and very big blue eyes and big boobs. But don’t think they are just talented for having a pretty face. They are both talented and deserve all the fame and recognition they have.
John Legend and Joseph Gordon-Levitt
One is a famous hipster and the other a famous music artist but they both look cute with a beard.
Tyra Banks and Rihanna
They both are very pretty even tho they have somewhat large foreheads and they both have such pretty eyes IMO!! Also just a reminder that Tyra is a singer too and has her own music videos and everything and she can dance so watch out Rihanna!!
Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen and Kelly Clarkson
Kelly Clarkson might be Mary-Kate and Ashley’s long lost triplet, but they are definitely all living the American dream!!
Justin Timberlake and Ryan Phillippe
Hot!! I think everyone will all at least agree on this one. Their resemblance has been talked about for years.
Amy Adams and Emma Stone
Both leading ladies on screen and I’m sure will be competing against roles and Oscars throughout their career with both looking so alike and being so talented.
Beyonce and Jessica Alba
So beautiful. So bootylicious. Both are triple threat entertainers (singing, acting, dancing) and look great in gold dresses matching their golden locks.
Dakota Fanning and Amanda Seyfried
Last but not least we have 2 big blue-eyed blonds. They look like dolls :) They are both actresses so I hope that someday they play sisters or mother and daughter because they look so much alike it would be a shame not to use that in a family movie.
I’m going to say a big fat no to all of these except maybe Amanda Seyfriend-Dakota Fanning and Lady GaGa-Lykke Li. Everybody know’s that Katy Perry is like Zooey Deschanel and definitely not Adele.
The 2011 Grammy Awards took place last year so to celebrate that Billboard have come up with a list of who they think had the top 10 performances of the last 10 years. Take a look and see if you agree with any of them.
10. Gorillaz, Madonna & De La Soul, 2006
The 48th Grammys started off as no other Grammys had before — with an opening band that wasn’t even three-dimensional. Animated act Gorillaz took to the stage to perform the Record of the Year-nominated “Feel Good Inc.,” joined briefly by the real De La Soul and a hologram of Madonna. But when the real Madge appeared onstage moments later to perform her 2005 hit “Hung Up,” with its sexy dancing and ABBA samples, the Grammy crowd truly let loose.
Radiohead may have shunned the music industry in 2007 when it delivered “In Rainbows” straight to fans using a pay-what-you-want online download, but the band proved it could still play to the Academy (literally) at the 2009 Grammy Awards. Joined by the USC Marching Band, Thom Yorke and co. performed a rendition of “15 Step” that was so rousing, even the frontman shared some of his twitchy dance moves. Eat your heart out, Fleetwood Mac.
8. Kanye West & Daft Punk, 2008
When Kanye West released “Stronger” as a single in 2007, it seemed written in the stars that the rapper and Daft Punk, who is sampled on the tune, would join forces and perform together. At 2008′s 50th Grammys, that’s exactly what happened. Note to the Black Eyed Peas: THIS is how you do a light show!
7. Lady Gaga & Elton John, 2010
Lady Gaga’s performance at the 52nd Grammy Awards was classic not only for its over-the-top theatrics, but for Elton John’s appearance on “Speechless” and the duo’s duet on Elton’s classic “Your Song.” The best part? The conjoined mega-piano Gaga and Elton played on, not to mention the pair’s matching rhinestone glasses.
For the 52nd Grammy Awards in 2010, P!nk took a few lessons from Spider-Man and gave a show-stopping performance of aerial, acrobatic brilliance. P!nk may not have walked away with any trophies that night, but thanks to her high-flying rendition of “Glitter in the Air,” she was the artist everyone was talking about come Monday morning.
5. Beyonce & Tina Turner, 2008
Beyonce and Tina Turner were “rolling, rolling, rolling” as they lit up the stage with their performance of Turner’s “Proud Mary” at the 50th annual Grammys. The show-stopping, glitz and glamour-filled duet proved that Tina still had it, and no one –not even B — was going to take it away from her.
4. T.I., Jay-Z, M.I.A., Lil Wayne & Kanye, 2009
It was as though a new rap supergroup (“the rap pack” seems fitting) formed at the 2009 Grammy Awards, when all facets of hip-hop joined forces for one killer performance of T.I. and Jay-Z’s “Swagga Like Us.” Lil Wayne and Kanye West held their own as usual, but it was a pregnant M.I.A. who stole the show in her sheer polka-dot dress. The fiesty diva didn’t just look like she was about to pop — she actually gave birth three days later.
3. Usher & James Brown, 2005
Between Usher’s Michael Jackson-esque moves during the performance of his 2004 single “Caught Up” and James Brown’s fancy footwork on “Sex Machine,” the two R&B titans’ duet at the 47th Grammys was one to remember. Check out the dance-off toward the end of the set — you can almost see the exact moment when the crown was passed.
2. Melissa Etheridge & Joss Stone, 2005
Melissa Etheridge and Joss Stone may seem like an unlikely pairing, but when you throw Janis Joplin into the equation, it makes perfect sense. Both songstresses possess their own unpolished soulfulness and rock stylings, which proved to be a powerful match in a tribute to Joplin at the 2005 Grammys. Stone started off with “Cry Baby” before being joined by Etheridge, who triumphantly made a return to the stage after being diagnosed with breast cancer one year earlier.
1. Eminem & Elton John, 2001
Eminem infuriated the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation with the homophobia-tinged lyrics on his 2000 album “The Marshall Mathers LP,” and the organization protested the 2001 Grammys because of his involvement. But gay activist Elton John crossed the picket lines and joined Em’s performance of “Stan” at the ceremony in a move that was musically powerful, as well as political.
I agree with most of these but I would have added Christina Aguilera‘s performance of It’s A Man World to the list and maybe ranked Kanye West higher.
Some documents in this world are of undeniable importance: the Declaration of Independence, the Bill of Rights and more recently, AskMen’s Top 99 Women of 2011 list.
This year’s list, which marks the 10th anniversary of the hottie countdown, has some familiar faces on it, including Beyonce and Angelina Jolie, who have made the list every year since its inception.
Many of our most-beloved beauties, however, didn’t even crack the top 50, leaving plenty of room for newcomers, including ‘Mad Men‘ star Jessica Pare and new mom Miranda Kerr, filling in the top 10 and top five spots, respectively.
It was none other than ‘Gossip Girl‘ star Blake Lively who earned this year’s top spot on the list, with ‘Black Swan’ beauty Mila Kunis and ‘Modern Family’ vixen Sofia Vergara rounding out the top three.
Lively, whose transformation from Upper East Side socialite Serena van der Woodsen to an Oxycontin-addicted single mom in gritty crime drama ‘The Town’ earned her critical praise, shot up the list this year, moving up from her number 85 ranking in 2010.
In addition to a number of new faces on the list, like Nicki Minaj, a number of AskMen favorites appeared in the ranks, including Victoria’s Secret model Selita Ebanks, star of Kanye West’s ‘Runaway,’ who earned the number four position, mom-to-be Natalie Portman, who comes in at number 11, and 10-year list vet Gisele, who takes the number 34 spot.
Filling out the top 10 are familiar faces Cheryl Cole, Scarlett Johansson, Katy Perry and Anne Hathaway, who took spots six through nine.
Beyonce Knowles showed just how much she loves her husband Jay-Z by reportedly presenting him with a Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport, on his birthday.
The rap mogul turned 41 on December 4th and to celebrate, The Sun reports his better half bought him one of the world’s fastest and most expensive production cars ever built.
The Veyron Grand Sport is powered by a 16.4-liter engine that produces 1,000 horsepower with a top speed of 253 mph and a 0-60 mph time of just 2.7 seconds. And the price for all that speed and power: a cool $2 million.
Beyonce can certainly afford it. According to Forbes, she made $87 million this year. Jay-Z is no slouch in the earnings department either, he has a business empire and a fortune estimated at $450 million.
The Veyron will add to Jay-Z’s impressive car collection which according to The Sun includes a Maybach 62S, Ferrari F430 Spider and a Pagani Zonda Roadster.
Next on the list for the couple could be a baby.
Beyonce pregnancy rumors are an almost daily occurrence and last month her mom Tina Knowles shot down any baby speculation, but did say she can’t wait to be a grandmother and she believes they would make “great parents.”
The ad for Beyonce‘s new fragrance, Heat, has been banned from daytime television in the UK because they think it’s too “sexually provocative” for children.
The Advertising Standards Authority in the UK say the ad, which sees Beyonce wearing a sexy short dress while she walks around singing Fever, is unsuitable for young children who could be watching the TV. A number of people who are no fun called up and complained about the ad so the ASA released a statement saying…
“Beyonce’s body movements and the camera’s prolonged focus on shots of her dress slipping away to partially expose her breasts created a sexually provocative ad that was unsuitable to be seen by young children. We considered that the ad should not have been shown before 7.30pm due to the sexually provocative nature of the imagery.”
Some people have way too much time on their hands to complain over little things like this, the ad isn’t too sexually provocative at all in my opinion. It would be nice to wake up first thing in the morning and see this on the TV. But that’s just my opinion.
