Tonight, Bill O’Reilly opened the Factor with an angry rant related to yesterday’s highly anticipated WikiLeaks event, during which he stated that those who leak to the “despicable” web site are “traitors” who “should be executed.”
O’Reilly also went after President Obama for not making a statement related to the leak, and PFC Bradley Manning—suspected of a previous leak to WikiLeaks—who he said should be given life in prison with hard labor.
Fireworks erupted on the set of ‘The View’ today when hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Beharleft the set during an interview with Bill O’Reilly while discussing the proposed “Ground Zero mosque.”
“The mosque down here on 9/11. That’s inappropriate,” O’Reilly said of the planned Islamic community center being built near the site of the former World Trade Center.
“Sure, they have a right to do it,” he continued. “But it’s inappropriate because a lot of the 9/11 families who I know, say, ‘Look, we don’t want that.’”
When Joy, Whoopi and the other ladies expressed their opposition to ‘The O’Reilly Factor’ star’s opinion, he attempted to shut them down.
“Listen to me because you’ll learn,” he exclaimed. He added that he believes President Obama’s numbers are falling because of his unwillingness to comment on “the wisdom of” building the community center.
“You’re saying that Americans are not smart enough to recognize that while it is part of our Constitution to say freedom of religion and freedom to worship and there were 70 families who are Muslim who also died in that building. So you’re saying that his saying that they have the right to do it and not saying anymore is why his approval ratings have gone down?” Goldberg questioned.
The heated discussion went back and forth, but the huge blow came after O’Reilly said “Muslims killed us on 9/11,” causing Goldberg and Joy to walk off the set enraged.
In September, five teenage boys killed themselves after being physically or verbally (or both) assaulted for being gay.
The suicides of Tyler Clementi, 18, Billy Lucas, 15, Asher Brown, 13, Justin Aaberg, 15, and Seth Walsh, 13, have brought national attention to the epidemic of bullying in American schools.
Now, a number of stars, many of whom have personal experience with anti-gay bullying, are speaking out in hopes of raising awareness and providing support to teens and young adults who are being victimized or who are having trouble dealing with their sexuality. The topic is also addressed in a cover story for this week’s People magazine and in a week-long series on CNN’s Anderson Cooper 360.
Most recently, ‘Project Runway‘ mentor Tim Gunn spoke candidly about his own suicide attempt and his support for The Trevor Project, a national 24-hour, toll-free confidential suicide hotline for gay and questioning youth. “I understand the desperation. I understand the despair,” an emotional Gunn said with tears in his eyes. “And I understand how isolated you can feel … It will get better. I promise.”
Comedienne Sarah Silverman has inspired some controversy by positing that a national atmosphere of institutionalized homophobia, as exemplified by the military’s Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell policy as well as campaigns for constitutional amendments to ban civil marriage for same-sex couples, are at the heart of this epidemic.

Jennifer Aniston has shot back at Bill O’Reilly following his comments about her being “Destructive to Society.”
It all started when Aniston said women no longer need a man to have a baby. “Women are realizing more and more knowing that they dont have to settle with a man just to have a child.”
After that, O’Reilly, while supporting single moms, said, “She’s throwing a message out to 12-year-olds and 13-year-olds that, ‘Hey, you don’t need a guy! You don’t need a dad!’ That’s destructive to our society.”
“Of course, the ideal scenario for parenting is obviously two parents of a mature age. Parenting is one of the hardest jobs on earth.
And, of course, many women dream of finding Prince Charming (with fatherly instincts), but for those who’ve not yet found their Bill O’Reilly, I’m just glad science has provided a few other options.”
Aniston is promoting ‘The Switch,’ in which she plays a woman who has a baby using a sperm donor.
While promoting her movie ‘The Switch’ earlier this week, Jennifer Aniston told reporters that women don’t need men to start a family or be good mothers.
When Bill O’Reilly caught wind of her statement, he debated the topic of single motherhood on ‘The O’Reilly Factor‘ and called out the 41-year-old actress.
“She’s throwing a message out to 12-year-olds and 13-year-olds that, ‘Hey you don’t need a guy. You don’t need a dad.’ That is destructive to our society.”
FOX News contributor Margaret Hoover and FOX News anchor Gretchen Carlson debated the topic with O’Reilly, admitting young teens wouldn’t be able to comprehend the vast differences between a 40-year-old woman and a teenager raising a child as a single mother. “She is glamorizing single parenthood,” Carlson said.
In ‘Switch,’ Aniston plays a woman who elects to take on life as a single parent through artificial insemination. During the movie’s press conference in LA, the actress admitted “times have changed” and women don’t need to rely on men to be good mothers.
“Women are realizing more and more that you don’t have to settle, they don’t have to fiddle with a man to have that child. They are realizing if it’s that time in their life and they want this part they can do it with or without that.”
O’Reilly called out the actress, deeming her message inappropriate.
“Jennifer Aniston can hire a battery of people to help her. But she can’t hire a dad. Dads bring a psychology to children that in this society is under emphasized. Men get hosed all day long in the parental arena.
Any man who leaves their children is not a man. Let’s make that perfectly clear. But the fathers that do try hard are under appreciated and diminished by people like Jennifer Aniston.”
Ouch! Maybe it’s because she doesn’t have a clue or children, Bill?

Bill O’Reilly has hit out at rapper Eminem over his new video, “We Made You”.
He shields his commentary under the argument that it’s hatred and denigration of women. It’s just a video, Bill! It’s a spoof, get over it.
He ragged on Eminem for his “obscene rant” on Sarah Palin. And Eminem means nothing?!? Obviously it means enough that it got your attention.
Hip Hop isn’t just for confused kids, anymore, Bill. I am a woman and I was not offended by the video whatsoever. Was there this much hysteria when Larry Flynt released his x-rated video, “Nailin’ Paylin’”?
Thankfully, we as a people don’t want or need the media to tell us what we can listen to and what we cannot.
Don’t ask Bill O’Reilly what he thought of Milk. Or any other Sean Penn film, for that matter.
In a new Hollywood Reporter interview, the conservative (who marks his 100th consecutive month as the No. 1-rated Fox News show on Tuesday) says he refuses to watch “just Sean Penn” movies because of the liberal actor’s political views.
“He’s a great actor, and if you hire him, you’ll get a good performance. I’m just not going to give a guy who gives aid and comfort to people like [Iran president Mahmoud] Ahmadinejad, Hugo Chavez and Saddam Hussein, when he was alive, my 10 bucks. That’s my right as an American.”
(Penn visited Iran briefly in December 2002 and later took out an ad in the Washington Post accusing President Bush for his “deconstruction of civil liberties” there. In 2007, Penn also met with Venezuelan president Chavez, who praised the actor for urging Americans to impeach Bush.)
“It’s a personal decision. I don’t tell people how to vote or how to spend their money. I don’t tell people how to do anything. In America, you decide for yourself. We don’t endorse anybody here or promote a political party, which is why we’ve been so successful.”
Bill O’Reilly had Barney Frank on his show last night and things quickly took a turn for the worse, they both ended up yelling at each other the whole interview.
It all started when O’Reilly asked, “Shouldn’t everybody in the country be angry with you right now?”
Frank denies all of O’Reilly’s accusations which finally led to O’Reilly calling a coward to which frank said:
“You start ranting, and the only way to respond is to almost talk as boorish as you, I’m not going to be bullied by your ranting… You’re not going to shut me up.”
In the end, Frank says O’Reilly is to “dumb to understand”, which O’Reilly responds You’re the brilliant guy who presided over the biggest financial collapse, You’re the brilliant guy. I’m the dumb guy.”
Last week, hackers broke into BillOreilly.com, stole personal details including passwords of the site’s members and made them public via various internet forums.
The hacking of Bill O’Reilly’s site was allegedly a response to the Fox host’s ‘scurrilous attacks’ of Wikileaks (a website that published Sarah Palin’s hacked information), other members of the press, and ‘Hacktivists’. It was their way of ‘thumbing their noses at the pundit’.
O’Reilly and his people are working with authorities to get to the bottom of the hack job.
The following statement was posted on the O’Reilly site:
“The FBI and Secret Service are close to indicting some of the perpetrators and we will keep you posted when the arrests are made. All premium members receive the full backing of our legal team and if anyone is hassled in the least, please inform us immediately. In the latest case, no proprietary information was obtained by hackers and we have safeguards in place to protect everyone who does business with us.
Rest assured that we are on this. Our defense of Sarah Palin has led some criminals to attempt to disrupt our enterprise. At this moment federal authorities and our attorneys are compiling information against these people. Again, if any person is bothered in any way – please let us know. We stand behind our products but, most importantly, we stand behind you. We’ll get the bad guys. Count on it.”
It was also mentioned that ‘hacktivists’ aren’t done terrorizing the Fox pundit and are planning another attack.
