Fonda wants all of her fans to know that she is “fine” and is out promoting her newest fitness DVDs. Her new Primetime Fitness DVDs will hit stores on November 30, while she will re-launch her Fonda Workout brand with a series of DVDs and workout equipment on December 26.
When I got this email about Megan Fox I kind of laughed but then at the same time I felt incredibly jealous that celebrities get offered millions of dollars just for being themselves.
You see, Megan Fox’s agent over at International Creative Management (ICM) was sent documents, which you can see in the thumbnails below, asking if she would endorse Breast Enhancement for BreastEnhancement.com and if she wouldn’t then would she endorse their sister site BreastCancer.net
The letter says…. We feel that Ms.Fox would be the most ideal celebrity for BreastEnhancement.com to partner with. It is our understanding that Ms.Fox has not had any cosmetic surgery to date nor plans on dong so. We respect her personal choices and simply feel that having an international flm star of her level would be of great benefit to our organization. Ms.Fox exudes beauty, confidence and success which are three qualities that all women aspire to have.
Fox got offered $1.5 million to be the spokeswoman and the only thing she would have to do is make twelve appearances at events throughout the United States promoting the site, she would also have to shoot four :30 second commercials for them.
It must be nice being someone like Megan Fox, getting offered over a million bucks just for having a nice rack.
A crop of breast cancer awareness PSAs are using D-cup cleavage to capture the attention of young women. One ad, which features a long-legged female flaunting her ample breasts in a bikini as onlookers ogle, contains the tagline, “You know you love them…it’s time to save the boobs.”
Another PSA, called the “Yoplait Pledge,” refers to the breasts as “cheechees,” “hooters” and “tatas.”
Are these clever marketing strategies that deliver a life-saving point, or do they disrespect women’s bodies? The answer depends on who you ask.
Angela J. Lamb, MD, a medical resident at the University of Minnesota says,
“It portrays the lead woman as a sex object. It may have been the producers’ intent to grab attention and get folks to take a hard look at this issue, but some of the message may be lost in the distraction of the overly sexual nature of the PSA. Also, the PSA does not provide information about breast self-exams or doctor visits.”
Jean-Marie Bradford, MD, Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Columbia University Medical Center in New York, adds her perspective:
“Keeping breast cancer prevention at the forefront of people’s minds and compelling them to action are worthy goals and likely the intended goals of these PSAs. Yet I think effective PSAs that don’t sexually objectify women’s bodies can be developed.”
Everything about this article is LOL worthy to me, minus the breast cancer aspect of course. I see this attracting the attention of young men, not young women.

Christina Applegate has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
Only one month after her ex-boyfriend Lee Grivas was discovered dead in his apartment — the victim of an apparent drug overdose — Christina Applegate has been diagnosed with an early form of breast cancer, a rep for the actress confirms.
“Benefitting from early detection through a doctor-ordered MRI, the cancer is not life threatening,” reads the statement from the 36-year-old Samantha Who? star’s rep. “Christina is following the recommended treatment of her doctors and will have a full recovery.”
Christina has long been a supporter of breast cancer research and prevention. Her mother, Nancy Priddy, is a breast cancer survivor and in 2003 the Married…With Children actress acted as the spokesperson for Lee National Denim Day, a fundraiser to benefit Women’s Cancer Programs of the Entertainment Industry Foundation.
